Anya looked at her reflection and sighed. She looked beautiful. She looked around at her friends who were equally dashing in their attire. Yellow wasn't a funny colour after all. She gently placed the tiara made with thirty different tiny flowers of various colours over her head. All the bridesmaids had one on their head and their hair was rotated into tiny curls in the front. It was the last adornment to be in place and now they were all set.
The girls squealed looking at each other throwing praises and compliments around. Anya was happy that Jess had lightened up and was excited as the others.
*kindly listen to the song in the media box as you read this for maximum experience*"Line up! It's their first dance." Deb called out to them and Anya didn't have a chance to put a second thought to what Ronan had said. They hurried towards the ballroom area where a huge chandelier hung from the ceiling which also marked the spot the couple were supposed to start the dance. It was right at the centre visible to the entire crowd that were seated in circles.
"Well, we can't just let her walk away, can we? Especially after what she's done." Jess suggested."There's nothing we can do now, Jess." Tash sighed sadly."I think we should be more worried about what Ronan's going to do. Is he going to press charges?" Emily scorned in frustration."He won't." Anya said loudly as she let the first tear slip away on her cheeks.
"Congratulations, Ann. I'm so happy for you." Chloe hugged her tightly as she reached her cabin. "Um, sorry, ma'am. " She corrected herself. For a moment, she didn't understand why Chloe was congratulating her or calling her ma'am but when her other colleagues applauded noticing her presence, she realised it. She was the new manager. She had been too pre occupied with what had happened with her friend that this fact completely slipped her mind. This was not good news especially because she had no idea where Ronan would be now.S
"Ronan!" A wild shiver shook her body as she opened her eyes. It was dark and it wasn't raining. The air was calm and she could feel the bumpiness of her bed. A stinging pain reverberated through her skull and she held her hand to support her head from the exploding distress. She felt her body rock to and fro to manage the agony while her eyes watered effortlessly. Immediately after, she felt a calming embrace by her side."Ssh, it's alright, it's alright, you're home now." A familiar voice rubbed her back in a comforting way. Her body stopped rocking instantaneously as she broke free from the embrace and looked at
"And that is why you're the only one who can bring him back." Victoria concluded taking a deep breath. "I've already lost one child. I don't want to lose another, Ann." She blowed into her handkerchief.Anya's mind swirled and twirled in every direction. It was too much information for her to process and understand that she wondered if whatever she had heard was even true and if it was, she was in a lot of convolution than she had initially perceived.
"And then I find out that his daughter isn't really his daughter." Cedric said inhaling sharply and the words startled her. She looked at him surprised. "I'll prefer if this stays between ourselves." He said with a serious expression and Anya simply nodded. It was evident that he didn't know about Anya's knowledge of the matter and it was then that she realised that nothing stays a secret forever. People always had a way of finding out and if that doesn't happen then things almost invariably had a way of coming out themselves."There's more to him than I ever imagined." Cedric shook his head as it hurt h
"Oh my God!" Tash covered her mouth in shock. "I'm so happy for you." She managed to say and hugged Anya tightly. The other girls had looked at each other for a second and then started squealing and yelling in happiness which was followed by a group hug when Anya had told them about her decision. Anya couldn't explain the feeling she had when she saw her friends being happy for her. Maybe that was love too."Okay, okay so does this mean you are going to confess your love to him?" Jess spat out in a hurry, the excitement gettin
Love. A word that means different things to different beings. Sometimes taken as a feeling while other times as a promise. Something that is expected in all kinds of relationships. The absence of which doesn't spare the end of any bond.A powerful tool that conquers and moulds hearts so much so that it influences its own beat. A mood that either makes you fly of happiness or cringe in pain confusing even the most intelligent organ of the body.
