The moment Celia recognized Vivian's mother, a cold smile curved across her lips.

She lifted her foot and kicked Vivian's mother to the ground, then ground the heel of her stiletto hard into the woman's hand.

"It's you. Back then, when I wanted to sponsor your education, you refused. Never thought you'd throw yourself at the chance to become a mistress instead.

"Men are things I can give away if I feel like it. But what you should never—ever—have done was lay a hand on my daughter."

After finishing with the three of them, Celia turned her gaze on the rest of the people kneeling on the floor.

"Everyone here, listen carefully. The entire estate is under surveillance. I've already sent your crimes to the police. How they handle it is their business. I won't interfere…"

Just as everyone began to think they were spared, her next words detonated like a bomb.

"But—if any company dares to hire any one of you from now on, then they're declaring war on the Hawley Group. Your lives are off
