Jayden chewed on the walls of his mouth and uncertain why he was picking Juno’s call in the first place. He has no obligation towards her, however for no just reason at all he is answering her call which was unlikely of him or probably he needed to hear from someone very familiar.

When Jayden found a secluded place he picked the call.

‘Jayden!’ Juno wailed into the receiver. Her voice sounded coarse like she had been crying. ‘Where are you? How have you been? I have been trying to reach you all day and it is driving me nuts!’

Jayden exhaled. ‘Easy Juno. I am fine. I am sure you must have heard what happened.’

‘I just got back from the base to check on you again and I heard of Jaylen's return and the fight that ensued. How did that happen again?’

‘See, I know you like Jaylen really very much but can you do me a favor and not ask me such silly question.’
