Cassie was behind the steering wheel of the car, driving herself back to Malek’s mansion. Her heart was thumping in her chest, and she was so nervous about seeing the guy, and not only that. She was also worried about the fact that she might actually die from what Chad had given her to drink.

And lastly, she was worried that she might not die, but the antedote won’t work, and she would just end up being a vampire, which was something that she did not want to be.

When she arrived, she parked the car and reached for the radio out of instinct, wanting to turn it off. But no music was even playing; it was never on. She had been so stuck in her head that she had not noticed.

Sighing, she pulled away and killed the engine. She then removed her seatbelt and got out of the car. She still felt completely normal. She did not know whether to consider that a good thing or a bad one.

She started heading to the structure, and as soon as she reached the porch, she stopped. Her stomach did a weir

Selena was heading to school, but not to attend classes, though. Today was Sunday, so there was no school. She was actually supposed to go straight home after her little meeting with Malek that nobody else knew about, but the thing was, she had gotten a text to meet up with someone on campus. She did not know who it was, but she felt like going there would be the best way to find out. It woul dbe risky and stupid, but she knew for some reason that she was protected by the Moon goddess. Her heart pounded in her chest, though. Knowing you’re protected did not mean that she was not scared for her life. If anything, she thought about calling the alpha and telling him about this, but she wanted to do this by herself. So yeah. She finally reached and parked the car, killing the engine and taking out her new phone. Remember, her old one had gotten broken by the blonde girl weeks ago. This one was given to her before leaving the house, a surprise from Maddox. It was the latest one, too, b

The words of Malek echoed in Selena’s mind as she sat there and stared back at him. She really wished that things would have been different, but they were not. This was not some movie or some book. What did she expect to happen? This was real life. Of course, it was not going to go her way. But this made her sad. Not angry or anything, just sad. Because she really did believe that what the guy was doing was justified, but at the same time, she knew that it was more about revenge; it was more about causing more suffering than ending it. The omega sighed as she stood to her feet as well. She took a step closer to him and replied, “ Then I hope that you bring your absolute best.” Malek clenched his jaw, and without saying anything, he turned and walked out of the cafe. As soon as he made his way out, he walked over to his car and got in. He sat there for a few long seconds before suddenly hitting the steering wheel and shouting, “F*ck!!” This was not what he wanted; it was so far fr

Malek was behind the steering wheel, making his way over to a cafe where he was supposed to meet Selena. He had told her to keep it a secret; he did not want anyone to know about their meetup. There was a reason that his powers were being weird, or gone. He needed to understand, and he had a strong feeling that it had to do with the omega. This was why he had planned to meet up with her. The last time they had talked, things had gone so well. They were both on the same page, but now, he just felt like things had changed for some reason. So yeah, he made his way over to the cafe, parking across the street before killing the engine. He then sighed before removing his seatbelt. Was he nervous? Maybe, but he was more curious. He really wanted to talk to the omega. He soon got out of the car, closed the door and made his way across the street. When he reached the entrance of the building, he scanned around to see whether anything or anyone looked suspicious, but soon realized that ever

Chad stared at the blonde girl’s neck, paying very close attention, studying it. He had seen a few bites in person before, but this one was different. This was not just a normal or ordinary vampire bite. It was more than that. He pulled away, exhaling deeply. Then he locked eyes with her, and he could tell that she was dying to just know. Her eyes held fear and curiosity at the same time. “What bit you, Cassie?” Cassie’s heart skipped a beat and adjusted her blouse before looking away. Damn, he was smart. “A vampire.” Her voice was small as she stared at her hands. “Is it too late?” She did not want it to appear obvious that she had been bitten by something or someone way more powerful. “Are you sure?” He asked. “Because that does not look like it. Whatever bit you shares a trait with a vampire, but it’s more than that. It was not just a vampire, was it?” She looked over at him and could feel tears burning her eyes for some reason. She shook her head in response. He knew that if
