Chapter 4

Penulis: William Stays Tonight
The man stared right at me with his cold eyes. My blood froze when I saw in his eyes that he wanted to plunder my innocent body. He was like an experienced and dangerous hunter, while I was the prey he had just captured. Any struggle against him was futile.

It scared me to even make any slight movements. If I angered him, he might not mind handing me over to the other predators and sharing me with them.

I remembered how I was groped and grabbed by numerous hands as those men surrounded and sexually assaulted me in that nightmare. They had their way with me until I finally vanished from the world.

I wanted to convince myself that it was nothing but a dream and that this was just a coincidence, but the truth before me told me that I was deceiving myself. If everything in the dream were to come true…

It frightened me so much that I felt weak all over and fell limply onto the bed. Even my breathing felt weak. My sudden act of docility might have pleased the man as he pressed onto me in a good mood and kissed me on the corner of my lips.

"Be good, Baby," he said huskily. "I won't hurt you if you're a good girl."

I trembled while forcing myself to think clearly as I questioned him, "Who exactly are all of you? Why are you treating me this way?"

"All of us? We're all just your husband's clients." When the man smiled, he looked like a polite gentleman with his golden-rimmed glasses on his face. However, the hand he placed between my legs treated me roughly.

It felt like he was getting impatient, which was why his fingers were particularly violent when they went in and out of me. They stirred so hard inside of me that I could hardly take it. I could not stop him from invading my body, and this made it even more imperative for me to escape.

I grabbed his arm and begged him, "How much did all of you pay Owen? Was it five million? I'll give you six million to let me go. Please!"

The man laughed and shook his head. "You're wrong, baby. It's not five million total. It's five million per person." He slowly removed the veil from my head. "Thirty of us paid a five-million fee each to take your virginity."

My eyes widened in shock as I saw the glint in his eyes. He carried me up from the bed and straddled me on his lap. "You need to pay us at least 150 million. Do you have that kind of money?"

No, I did not. I did not have that much money, but I refused to give up. I begged the man in front of me like the good girl he wanted me to be, "I'll give everything I have to you. You can have all of my money. Please let me go. Please?"

There was no way I could pay 30 men, but I could at least afford to pay the man in front of me first. I thought he would let me leave on account of the money, but he suddenly laughed. The man pinched my cheek and whispered into my ear, "But I don't lack five million, baby. Compared to five million, what I really want is you."

Why me? Why did he refuse to let me go? A look of despair appeared on my face. Was it really impossible for me to escape? I could not accept that! "Who exactly are you people? Tell me. I need to know the answer!"

The man was convinced that I had no way of escaping, which was why he did not mind revealing more information. "Have you heard of Vincent Corleone, baby? He's known as Don Corleone to the people of Socario. He's the Don who holds absolute power and has full control of this state."

His eyes narrowed behind his glasses. There was a tinge of respect in his amused tone. "We initially bought you as a special present for him as congratulations for becoming the new Don. After all, who wouldn't like such a beautiful bride like you?"

The man laughed softly. Then, there was a slight look of regret on his face. "Too bad Don Corleone believes in the ancient rules of Socario. He's fully focused on conducting those boring, legitimate businesses and has no interest in fun, hunting games like this. He left without even revealing himself."

He leaned in close to me and licked his lips greedily. "If Don Corleone doesn't appreciate this gift, the rest of us don't mind opening it up for him…"

The man tore the wedding gown off me right away, revealing my naked body in front of him. His hand was like a cold, venomous snake that groped every part of my body with a force that I was not able withstand.

He grabbed my leg the next second to lift it onto his shoulder. He lowered his head while pushing his pants halfway down his leg. I screamed when I felt his warm, throbbing rod push into my body. "No! Don't touch me!"

For a moment, I was taken aback, but I was quickly reminded of Owen and Sophia. Vincenzo noticed me looking a little down, and he spoke up once more. "They've been caught. They're downstairs right now. Do you want to see them?"I shook my head. Call me weak, but I really did not want to see their disgusting faces ever again."How do you want me to take care of them?" Vincenzo was really considerate of my feelings. When he noticed that I was avoiding the topic, he looked at me tenderly. "If you don't want to get your hands dirty, I can handle them for you."I chose the latter without hesitation. "You can make any decision you want. There's no need to tell me the results." After all, I had decided to forget about them from this day onward.Vincenzo smiled. He was done helping me change my medication and bandages. He walked out after washing his hands and kissed me on the corner of my lips. "I wasn't planning on telling you because… I'd get jealous."His sudden loving words to me, wh

The glass shards reflected under the bright sun as I jumped out of the broken window. Lady Luck was once again on my side. It was the fifth floor, but I did not fall straight to the ground. Instead, I landed on a balcony on the third floor. My body was covered in minor cuts from the glass, and I could feel the searing pain of different degrees on my arm and my right calf. Someone had attacked my arm, and my right leg got hurt from smacking against the balcony's railing when I jumped out of the window. The intense pain almost knocked me out as I saw black. They would not give me much time to catch my breath. I had to run! I had no choice but to jump from the third floor. I forced myself to turn and leap off the balcony, as I was worried those men would get downstairs before I did. That was when someone I was somewhat surprised to see appeared outside the door. "Emma." Owen gave me a troubled look. It seemed to pain him to see me this way. "Does it hurt?" He reached out in an attemp

"Stop it, you bitch! Let Gray go!""Gray? What the hell! What did you stab Gray with in the neck?""Damn it, you bitch! Have you any idea who Gray is?!"I had no idea who Gray was, but I guessed he was the most powerful person among this group of men. I had been observing them all this time, and I figured one of them held the highest position, or there could even be several of them in high positions. It was not long before I identified three people who fit the profile. The first was Peter, the second was the leader of the policemen, and the third was Gray. After all, he had not hidden the fact that he nearly had me to himself, and no one had seemed mad about it. That meant he was someone of high position. If I could hold one of them hostage, there was still a chance that I could escape. Peter and the lead policeman were big, tall men. I had no way of subduing them. Gray was the only one among them who was wounded. I might have a chance of attacking him if I just found a window of

If Sophia had only talked to me about this, things would probably not have turned out this way, but this was also partly my fault. If I had been more concerned about Sophia, I might have discovered it in time. Unfortunately, it was all too late."Sophia, I won't hate you. We're even now, but from now onward, we're no longer friends."When Sophia heard my words, the expression on her face vanished. She stood before me and stared stoically back at me. She slowly spoke with a troubled look in her eye. "I hate you, Emma. I really, really do hate you."She turned to run downstairs in a fluster after that. I did not run because there was nowhere for me to go. Those men had surrounded me by coming from upstairs and downstairs."You can really run, my dear." It was the first man who had been on the phone, Peter Branzino. He smiled as he appeared behind me to block my way as I backed away from everyone else."Baby, you're so hot, but I don't like it when you do things like this. You need t

My eyes widened as I stared at Vincenzo for several seconds before I turned away to make a run for it. I was in a fluster when I ran off. There was only so much I could take. It was him! He was Vincenzo Corleone! I was in so much shock when I ran off that I did not even close the door behind me. Naturally, I also missed the slightly despondent look in the eyes of the man behind me.I had run down several floors when I finally heard someone call out my name."Emma? Is that you, Emma?""Sophia?" I lunged forward at her with happy tears on my face when I saw the person waiting for me downstairs. "It's so wonderful to see you, Sophia. I thought I could never see any of you again!" I hugged Sophia tightly and exclaimed in agitation."Everything is fine now, Emma. We can go home now." Sophia moved stiffly before reaching out to pat me on the shoulder to comfort me. I quickly collected myself but found it a little strange when I saw only Sophia there. "Where's Sam and William? Didn't

It was not Owen calling me but Sophia, my best friend! I picked up the call happily. "Sophia?""Emma! Where have you been? I've been looking everywhere for you, and Owen refuses to tell me where you are. Are you alright?!" Sophia's worried voice was heard coming from the other end of the call.Tears could not help falling from my eyes. "I'm fine, but there are lots of people trying to catch me. I can't leave just yet. You should go home right now, and don't contact Owen. I'll explain everything to you later."I had no idea what Owen and those men planned to do, and I was worried Sophia might get implicated if they could not find me. All I wanted was for her to quickly leave this dangerous place."Are you still inside the church?""I am."Sophia suddenly sounded really happy. "That's great! Come down right now. I'm at the entrance. Come over, and you can leave under our protection.""Are there more people with you?" I was taken aback.Sophia replied, "Of course. Sam and William
