Hector’s POV

Every word she said earlier, I heard. About me being a monster and trying to kill her, Trojan was not exactly a bad wolf, he just looks so scary that I believe Kayla mistook his every move as an attack. I warned the idiot not to try to lick her face but he still tried to do it, I bet she thought he was going to eat her or something.

I need to make her understand that I’m not a monster We’re not monsters. “ Shut the door,” she said as I entered the room. I did so, taking a little more time before I turned around and sat down beside her on the bed, ignoring the chair in the room because I knew she would not mind if I sat beside her. In fact, she won’t be able to hate it now.

Her forehead was healing a lot faster now so I took away the ice pack from her hand because it was blocking her beautiful face. I told her this and she smiled.
