Chapter 178

Devon's POV

The sudden appearance of the red moon was quite baffling. It arrival before it said date took us off guard. The pack guards went in search of the sage in the caves but as usual there was nothing. Perhaps, this was just a facade of the red moon? I pondered.

I got back to the palace and Olivia was not in her room. I asked about her from Gabi and she told me Olivia was in the garden.

I got there and saw her staring at a plant. "Hey, love. What are you looking at?" I asked her.

"Hi, um, it's this green plant, it shines but it won't let me uproot it," she replied.

"Let me see," I said as I drew nearer to the plant. It was the sage! "My, it's the sage," I said in excitement.

She grinned. "Well, uproot it!" She said to me. I tried to uproot it but it wouldn't. This was just a plant and not a tree, yet it was hard to uproot. I tried severally but it would not come out of the ground. "How about we do it together?" She suggested. I agreed and when we did, the sage came off so easily
