MasukFreda’s POV
The feeling was overwhelming.
It was like being hit by a truck, and then pressed down without the opportunity to rise up. Then, when you finally got up, you were hit by a much bigger truck.
I chuckled as I felt it all over me,
Craig’s POVFor a minute, I couldn’t hear anything apart from a sharp, deafening tone.I was thrown back to the moment I was hit endlessly by my Uncle. His claws dug deep into my body until I felt like a rag. After a while, he stopped digging his claws and started punching me.I shook my head.Everyone stared at Sharon. Ava moved close to her; her claws were out.Sharon moved her gaze around as if she were waiting for the time anyone would pounce on her.I frowned. “Don’t, Ava.”A
Craig’s POVA frown settled on my face. Freda moved back, covering her body as if it had been exposed. A small smile laced my lips. Though I was angry at the interruption, every thought of Freda brought an unwarranted smile to my face. “I’ll be back,” I muttered, pulling my shirt up as I strode casually to the door. Greg stood outside, ready to push himself into my room until I placed my leg in between to block his entrance. He frowned at me, then at the door. “What is it?” I intercepted, just as he was about to open his mouth. He tried to look behind me, but my body had covered the open space completely. He cocked a brow at me. “Are you hiding something inside?”I didn’t miss a beat as I responded to him. “Do you have something important to report, or don’t you have anything to report?”Slowly, his face metamorphosed into seriousness.I looked back. If it were something bad, Freda might hear. I didn’t want her to hear and be bothered about things that are unnecessary. I clos
Freda’s POVThe feeling was overwhelming. It was like being hit by a truck, and then pressed down without the opportunity to rise up. Then, when you finally got up, you were hit by a much bigger truck.I chuckled as I felt it all over me,The feeling of never being alone.Immediately Criag kissed me, something took over my body. Everything went white, and I couldn’t see a single shade of black until a wolf came running over.It purred, sitting right before me.“Hello, I am Sheila.&rdquo
Craig’s POVTime was of the essence with everything now. Even though I didn’t believe in everything Eric had spilled out, there was no other way to know if he was being truthful or just teasing us. Therefore, there was nothing bad in trying it out. I moved closer to Freda, closing the gap she created between us. Her body was soft under my touch. She looked like she was going to break if I held her with too much force. She let out a low moan, not bothering to remove herself from my hand. I sniffed in her scent. It was unlike anything I had smelled before. Malcolm sighed within me, salivating at the delicious scent. He loved the scent as much as I do. I felt her gaze on my lip. I moved closer, closing the gaps between our lips. When my lips finally touched hers, something unexpected happened. For a moment, I couldn’t think or do anything else. The only thought that filled my mind was how soft her lips felt on mine.Malcolm growled within me, “Mine.”It was clear and bold. I pu
Freda’s POV“What!”Craig and I said at once. We shared a look before a sly smile took over my lips. “You’re joking, right?” I turned to look at the guy.“That’s a lie, Eric,” Craig said, his voice husky. The room, which was usually big, felt strangely small and suffocating. I avoided Craig’s face and turned my attention towards Eric. He didn’t smile. He looked as if he couldn’t be more serious.“I’ve never heard of such absurd stuff. This is a joke.”Eric chuckled, “I thought so too at first. Everything about the Silver Blood Pack is strange. I thought my father was joking, until I turned eighteen and my wolf refused to show itself. At first, I thought something was wrong with me.” He looked at us both and smiled. “Until I tried to humor my father. Guess what?”“You actually met your wolf.” I completed it. He nodded, folding his arms under his armpit. “This is ridiculous.” Craig's tone turned my head back to him. Yet, all I did was zone in on his lips. The word ‘kiss’ rang in m
Freda’s POVMy eyes scoured over the words on the pamphlet. Every word burned into my mind, and at some point, I found myself crying for the pains they must have gone through. It was hard to believe anyone had actually survived whatever they did. I was not just a member, I was their hope of existing again. But, above all else, what I wanted to know was what actually happened to my parents. A small frown etched on my face. Even Oman didn’t know the whole story; he only wrote that the princess had fallen in love and eloped for love. The whole thing sounded ancient to my ears, but there was no one to tell me another version. This was the only truth I knew. According to Oman, I was supposed to be some sort of powerful wolf. If possible, I was supposed to be the strongest. But, I couldn’t help but doubt that little information. I never once felt strong in my life.I stared at the pamphlet again. The true power ignites when the royal blood meets their true love. What was this? Some s
