At some point Sharaya fell asleep on the couch holding Dedrik, the boys were taking entirely too long downstairs.

“Does it normally take this long for the to finish interrogating prisoners?”

Ashley patted my back, “Not typically but they may be trying to get some more information out of him since they know about you darling.”

My eyes went wide, she pulled me into a hug “Don’t worry dear I will not say anything your secret is safe with me. Jordon informed me that I will be going along on your adventure to help with small Dedrik here.”

I let go of the breath that I didn’t even know I was holding. At least I know she understands the situation so that at least Dedrik is safe, “Ashley you have to promise me that if something happens you have to get him out of there and back here no matter what.”
