Chapter 21

After the dream I could not fall back asleep, I packed up my belongings before sitting back down. I stared up at the sky wishing more than anything that my parents and my mate could be with me. I know it’s not safe, but I want my son to be here.

“Rudina, how are we supposed to keep everyone safe I feel like I am losing my mind trying to be strong for everyone.”

Closing my eyes, I could feel the love coming from Rudina, “Da’Vina you’re not alone... I will always be with you; we are stronger than you are giving us credit for. You can do this we have loved ones to protect and the light that it brings into our hearts we will spread it across the entire world making sure nothing can ever touch them.”

Smiling, I laid back down staring at the stars in the sky, after some time I got up waking Sharaya up. “Sharaya come on we are going to head out early.”

Slowly sitting up she rubbed the sleep from her eyes, “Nina it is still dark out do you believe that it is safe for us to travel right now?”
