Jordon

I sat in the hospital room for what seemed like forever before Dereck started moving in the bed again.

“Dereck, are you awake?”

Hearing him grumble, I knew he was at least part of the way awake, “Look Dereck I know that you are upset because I let them leave but this is something that she has to do in order to become who she was meant to.”

Dereck’s eyes opened, “Jordon, I know but my wolf is not ok with it. We promised her we could go with her. But not only that, our son is out there. God knows where. We don’t even know if he is safe or how long he must stay away from us.”

“Alpha, I understand the dilemma, but I trust in my queen and mate to be able to handle themselves and we will know if something isn’t right you know that. Right now, you need to heal so we can get the necessary things in order for when they get back.”

“Get the doctor Jordon. I am ready to get out of here!”
