Chapter 5

I sat staring out the window for what seemed to be forever, when I heard Sharaya come back in the room. She had a tray full of food, she walked over to the the bed carefully placing the tray down on the bed. She sat down across the bed from me, “Is everything ok? You were screaming in your sleep.”

I looked down at the bed, “You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to, but it might help you feel better.”

I let out a long breath, “When I was sixteen Alpha Victor came to my kingdom and killed my entire kingdom, taking me to be his breeding machine because I was cute. I have had to hide who I truly was in order to protect me identity. I have no clue where the women and children are that he took from the kingdom I have to get stronger so that I can help my kingdom.”

        She looked like she was a little bit confused, “ What do you mean kingdom?”

I scooted as close as I could to her, “I am the daughter of King Daciana and Queen Daciana.”

I swear she almost fell off the bed after I told her that, “ Sharaya are you ok?

She seemed to snap out of it, “ O yes I am so sorry, are you seriously royalty.”

I shook my head yes, and she screamed like a school girl that just met her favorite musician.

“OMG Nina that is amazing but why are you hiding it then if your technically the queen right now.”

I popped a piece of toast in my mouth, “Because the only way the Victor could have killed my parents was if he had help from a witch that is the only way he would have the power to defeat them. Especially my father, he wasn’t the king for no reason Sharaya.”

She sat down on the bed, “O that is a very good reason, I am sorry I just got excited about you being royalty and all.”

I took a piece of the toast again putting it in my mouth, “That’s why I have to be careful and why we told you that you can’t tell anyone our secret and why I believe Rudina had your wolf swear to her that bond is unbreakable.”

Sharaya shook her head at me, “No that is not why, why you saved us from Alpha Victor beating us to death and not just once multiple times. She swore her life to you that she would serve and protect you no matter what.”

        “Why would she do that though?”

Sharaya handed me a glass of water, “Because Nina you protected us even at the cost of your own body. You almost died to protect us, so we swore to always protect you from others and if need be yourself.”

I jumped over the tray of food bringing Sharaya into a hug, “Thank you Sharaya you don’t what this means I haven’t been able to trust anyone in awhile.”

She hugged me back, “Well you can always trust me and honestly I think you can trust this pack, they absolutely hate Victor and anything that has to do with them. They have been looking for the king and queens killers for sometime. They even found a birth certificate for you but it didn’t have your name on it, just the day you were born and the king and queens name on it. “

I looked at her like she grew a second head, “My parents said that they hid everything that had to do with me. Why would they keep a birth certificate.”

She shrugged her shoulders, “Maybe that was the one thing that they couldn’t get rid of well that and a picture of you when you were little.”

I started panicking, “Sharaya they are going to know I am that girl if they have a photo.”

She placed a hand on my shoulder, “Nina you look different and besides right now you have brown hair and icy blue eyes they would never guess it unless you tell them. Which question is are you actually going to tell them when the Alpha returns?”

I looked away for a moment, “ Honestly it depends on a few things, one if Rudina says yes and two if I feel like I can trust the Alpha enough to tell him.”

I started eating some of the sandwitches that she put on the tray, “But in all fairness Rudina already said that she trusts them which is weird because you are the only one that she seemed to trust up until now.”

Sharaya pulled me onto my feet, “Well only one way to find out put your contacts in and cover those beautiful things up.”

I looked at her confused, “O and to get the hairdye out all you have to do is say Twinkle, I got it from a witch that the pack gives a house.”

I looked at her very confused, “ O don’t worry she is what is considered a light witch she never does anything that is considered evil because she is to afraid of the consequences.”

“Why do I have to put the contacts in?”

She started smiling a little bit, “Well it would seem that the Alpha is going to be here early I guess he finished up the pack business early and decided to come home. He wants to meet you in his office to talk with you and depending on that if you want to be linked with the pack.”

 That seemed to shock my system a little bit, so I went ahead and took the contacts into the bathroom. I made sure to put them in before I went downstairs, I am glad that she said something because I sure would have forgot. I got so use to them wearing them at the howlite pack that it seemed weird to put brand new ones in.  I had to blink quite a bit in order to get my eyes use to wearing new ones.

When I blinked then reopened my eyes Sharaya was standing in the bathroom.

“Let me see turn around!”

I turned around and she took a look at them, “They are in the right spot so you should be fine are you ready?”

I just nodded my head, for some reason I felt weird like something was about to happen. But I shook it off and grabbed Sharaya’s hand and we walked down to the Alpha’s office. Sharaya went to knock on the door but before she could the door opened and it was Beta Jordon.

“No need to knock Sharaya the Alpha has been expecting you guys.”

        As soon as they moved out of the way the most mouthwatering scent him me. It smelled like chocolate and

Ocean’s Breeze, “Rudina please tell me that’s not what I think it is.”

“I told you that we had a second chance mate, now go in there let me get a look at him.”

I slowly walked into the office and the man in front of me started sniffing around like he lost his mind. When he turned around my mouth fell open, he was about 6’3” with these most amazing green eyes and short dark hair. He started heading towards me sniffing when he got in front of me his eyes turned black, “MINE!”

Rudina came forward, “MINE” then they practically jumped each other. I heard someone clearing there throat so we broke apart, and turned and sure enough Sharaya was trying to get our attention. The beta was smiling from ear to ear, I turned back towards the man and I didn’t even know his name. I stuck my hand out, “Hi my name is Da’vina!”

He started laughing, he took my hand “My name is Alpha Dereck, and your name sounds amazing my little mate.”

I couldn’t help but smile at what he said, but I couldn’t help but be a little reserved about this seen how my first mate was an entire psycho that killed my family.

“Nina don’t be scared he is not going to hurt us just trust me like I do you.”

        I know that she is right but I am still worried that we won’t be able to trust him like we do Sharaya.

“Come sit down let us talk.”

I took his hand allowing him to lead me to where we were going to sit. Beta Jordan and Sharaya sat directly across from us, “Now Sharaya has told us a little bit about what happen to you at least what she knows about. Could you possibly fill us in on it or at least give us your last name?”

I looked at Sharaya and she gave me a smile shaking her head yes, I took a deep breath knowing that this could change the course of if our mate would reject us or not.

“Well my full name is Da’Vina Daciana I am the daughter of King and Queen Daciana.”

My mate and his beta jumped out of their seats which made me jump into fighting position just in case. They looked confused at first then Sharaya stepped in between.

“Boys you’re freaking her out sit down you are making her nervous.”

They looked at me and realization finally hit them, my mate stepped forward.

“I am sorry I didn’t mean to freak you out. We just have been searching for you everywhere and were still trying to figure out what happen to your parents.”

I let out the breath that I was holding, “It is ok I shouldn’t have freaked out the way I did.”

Beta Jordan stepped forward, “No don’t apologize after everything that you have been through.”

I just smiled at him before turning back towards my mate, “I understand if you want to reject me I come with a lot of trouble and I don’t want to bring that to your pack.”

He looked at me with a confused look on his face, “Why would I reject you just because of who your parents are?”

I looked down at the floor before turning towards Sharaya again she nodded her head giving me the encouragement that I so desperately needed. I whispered twinkle and the hair dye that was in my hair started to fade showing my true hair. My hair was always the brightest thing in the world because the silver was so bright. Then I reached up carefully taking the contacts out of my eyes before putting them in the case that Sharaya had gotten me.

I looked up making sure to look and both of them, “This is why I said you could reject me I come with a lot of trouble, I am not a normal wolf, I don’t know exactly what I am but I know for sure that the reason my parents are dead is because of what I am and you shouldn’t put your pack at risk because of me not including the fact that Alpha Victor was my first mate but I rejected him as soon as I found out.”

All there mouth’s fell open, but my mate stepped forward grabbing my chin pulling me into a kiss.

“Nina I wouldn’t leave you no matter what I have waited for you all my life why would I give you up because of something that is out of your control. Your parents death is not your fault this is all Victors fault and I would love for you to be mine forever if you would allow it.”

I almost melted as those words left his mouth, I let out the breath that I was holding.

Beta stepped up, “You are the luna of this pack and we will protect you and help guide you when the time comes don’t be scared or think that any of us would reject you.”

Sabrina started laughing and we all turned to her like she lost her damn mind, “You guys do realize that technically she is the queen of this kingdom right.”

It was like a shock went through the beta and alpha’s systems when it finally registered they looked at each other before looking at me. I looked at Sabrina and we both just started laughing, we laughed so hard we ended up on the floor crying. When we finally collected ourselves and stood up, the boys didn’t look happy that we were laughing.

“Don’t get upset with us because you forgot that I am technically the queen but I have to train and go back to the house or castle to find my families secrets it is the only thing that will help at this point because Rudina won’t tell me anything until then.”

They looked at each other I could tell that they were linking each other before they turned back towards me.

“We can help with all that but you will not be training with any other male other then me sorry, but I don’t want any other male around you.”

I looked at him with a smile on my face, “Well seen how only three of you know that I am special I can’t really train with anyone else at least in wolf form I can’t she kind of sticks out like a sore thumb.”

They looked at me confused, Sharaya stepped forward “Take us to the special room that way nobody can see us, and she can show you why.”

 They just nodded their head, walking ahead of us, we followed them down a few set of stairs and through a long concrete hallway. We arrived at a very large metal door that had a key lock on it, but it looked weird. Dereck placed his thumb on the handle and the stuck the key in unlocking the door he held it open so that the rest of us could get inside before he closed the door behind us. Once we were inside, I could see why she wanted to come here there are absolutely no windows in here whatsoever and as far as I can tell that door is the only exit and entrance into this room. Dereck closed the door behind us and then turned towards me.

“It is ok nobody can see or hear anything that happens in here typically we use it for prisoners but if what you say is true we can use it to help train your wolf that way nobody sees it but us.”

I nodded my head turning towards Sharaya she nodded her head again.

“Rudina your time to shine my dear.”

I could see the smile on her face, we shift quickly landing on all fours, the beta looked like he was about to shit himself and our mate seemed to be in shock. We walked over to him and Rudina pressed her head into his arm giving a little whimper. That seemed to snap him out of it and he rubbed our head a little bit, “You are beautiful my love the most amazing thing that I have ever seen.”

I shifted back and Sharaya tossed me some clothes I quickly put them on I looked at Dereck and he was fighting control so I wanted to make it a little bit easier on him.

“This is why I can’t shift in front of the pack right now at least not till I figure out everything.”

They looked at each other then back at me, well then we have to show you something but let us get something to eat at the very least before we show you. I nodded my head following them out the room and to the dining room, I can’t believe that I found my second chance mate so soon it shouldn’t be possible. But the goddess seems to be shining down on me at this particular time which don’t get me wrong I am grateful for it especially after everything I have been through.
