"I've never been to the movies before."
Dan gave her an odd look. "Never?"
She shook her head. "Plus I'm waiting till I'm sixteen."
Natalie chuckled at Dan's mortified expression. She had just returned from school and was rejoicing it was the weekends so she wouldn't have to go to school till Monday.
Dan had met her in her excited state and suggested an outing to start her weekend.
"It's not compulsory to be sixteen before going to the movies," he pointed out.
She nodded. "I know it's not but I wish to do it like that."
"Fine, I understand," he replied grudgingly.
