That guy from the academy, why did he look panicked when I saw him?

‘Inez, you're too quiet’ I try to talk to her but she doesn't respond, too quiet after the way we got beaten up by the senior. She must be upset just like me.

I sigh, the small noise easily heard among the soft sound of utensils on the dining table. Maria looks up from her plate.

“Don't worry about it too much. We are innocent” Maria says, her voice small as she quietly digs back to her food.

The eerie silence of this mansion is even more uncomfortable with only Rika around. She prepared us a good meal for lunch. But even the mouth-watering dish in front of me fails to cheer me up. After what happened at the Academy and the way we were under suspicion, it's possible the rest of Pack might see us in a bad light.

“It seems Luna is back” Rika murmurs, setting the jug of water on the table before walking out of the dining room.

After a while, Belle and her mother walk into the Hall with Rika following behind.
