Déjà vu

Our next class is pretty much the same. The teacher gave us a lecture then continue with the assignment which I’m glad though cause I’m not in the mood to pay attention.

My mind hover around the conversation I had with Tyler. I mean he has a point. I can’t keep ignoring Julia forever. After all she is my best friend, and we know each other for a long time. As the class ended, I felt a rush of relief wash over me. I quickly gathered my things, eager to leave before anyone could stop me. But just as I was about to make my escape, I saw him – Liam, my ex-boyfriend, standing right in front of me, blocking my path.

My heart sank as I met his pleading gaze. I could see the desperation in his eyes, but I couldn't bring myself to listen to whatever explanation he had to offer. Not now, not when the pain of our recent breakup was still so raw.

"Valerie, please," he begged, his voice cracking with emotion. "Just hear me out. I need to explain."

After months of not updating this book, I can say that I am finally back!! The past few months had been quite hectic for me therefore I took a break.
