Jayden's voice pierced through Rosaleigh's foggy mind as she comprehended her situation.
I shouldn't have come and disturbed Alex's sleep. - Rosaleigh thought.
However she didn't miss the reading glasses Jayden was wearing, which indirectly meant she hadn't disturbed his sleep. She took a minute to analyse his features. His dirty blonde hair was a mess as if Jayden had ran his hand through them quite a number of time, a habit he did when stressed.
I doubt he noticed it himself.- Rosaleigh thought as her eyes fell on her hands remembering the reason of her visit.

THIRD PERSON POV. Jayden cleared his throat returning his attention at Rosaleigh before he hesistantly took her hand waiting for her to repulse his touch. ROSALEIGH ISABELLÉ The days flew by smoothly, most of them were spent in the cafeteria. The year was coming to an end, the cafeteria was buzzing with students sharing the lasts of their beautiful memories trying to capture everything in their cameras. ROSALEIGH ISABELLE The hall reverberated with another round of applause as the announcer continued with his commencing speech. With bated breath, I moved forward towards the main stage. Currently, all the students stood backstage. It was our graduation day. The internship for our batch was to be conducted after a four-weak break. It would be a 24 weeks program in one of the best hospitals around Nashville. ROSALEIGH ISABELLÉ Mama had promised a Graduation feast for us as they were the only parents that had attended the Graduation ceremony for all my friends including Luke and Adam as well. Thus the following sunday night we headed out for dinner. Entering the Diner we walked towards the VIP section where a table for eight was set near the pool. Mama had pre-ordered dishes like Lobster with buckwheat piklets and avacado, Radicchio salad with orange and walnut dressing, lemon chicken with steamed rice, red and white wine to flush everything down. JAYDEN ALEXANDER. It was first time in past two weeks after our graduation when Rosaleigh had agreed to get out of the house. Everytime we planned an outing Rosaleigh faked illness or found some weird excuses. It was as if she was hiding in the house from something. Today too she had made a point she wouldn't go out in the city so Grace came up with the idea of a movie night at her place. I was glad to have Grace here, she was really helpful when it came to Rosaleigh. During the ride, Rosaleigh kept glancing around as if trying to spot something or someone. After I asked her what's the matter, she replied with an insouciant shrugg before shrinking in the passenger seat.

JAYDEN ALEXANDER. I held Rosaleigh close to me before sidling away from the balcony and towards Grace's bedroom. Adam had Lucy shielded in his arms as Grace crouched and crawled behind us. Rosaleigh clutched my shirt as I hugged her with all my might. Small whimpers escaped her lips as she tried to shrink further. We were in Grace's room when Lucy closed the door after Adam and Luke entered. The electric connection went off confirming my suspicions. We were under attack. I took my phone speed dialing Ralph asking for reinforcements. He informed that he was in his way but I couldn't wait any longer. We had to get out of the house from the underground emergency exit. LUCILLE The credits rolled in concluding the first film. Small chatters carried on around the living room. Luke had went to get tarts for me. All I needed was a sugar rush to keep me going all night. I peeked inside the kitchen from my spot. Luke was taking extra time. Before I could protest, a shattering shrill caused me to cover my ears. In no time Adam was hovering over me, forcing my head down towards his chest. But the force caused me to fall on my side, near the shattered glass window. A prickling pain shot through my arm as my heart raced at the sight of the gun Adam used to shoot towards the broken glass doors.
