Author note: Time skip to the Supernatural Council meeting. Chloe's POVI was desperate to know what was going on with Kari when we didn't see them again last night. Laying in bed next to Magnus who was still sound asleep I couldn't stop fidgeting. Chloe's POV*Warning Sexual Content*I walked out of Kari's room and closed the door behind me. I took a big sigh as I realised how much my best friend had to endure in such a short space of time. If I had known she was a wolf I would have helped her through it all, but knowing now what her wolf had done to protect her, I could understand. I let my senses pick up on my mate. Whereas a wolf can smell their mate, mermaids got this pull like they needed to go in a certain direction. it was like your body was a compass and was directing you to the one you were meant to spend the rest of your lifetime with.
