Ariadne woke up, drool seeping out of her mouth as she sat up. She fell asleep face planted in contracts. Sitting up one of the contracts was stuck to her face. Ink smearing as she tried to remove it. She groaned as she looked around. The house seemed empty without anyone here. Her stomach grumbled letting her know she didn't remember the last time she actually had a meal. She stood going over to the bread box and pulling out some bread. She grabbed some jam spread on it and took a bite. She needed to write a letter to request an audience with the judge. She needs to find proof as well in order to present to them. She needed to go survey the ships as well. She couldn't wait for Orion to be home so he could attend to those things. She sighed, taking a second bite of her brown bread with raspberry ram. Her stomach curled inwards happily like it couldn't wait for the food to reach it.   She finished the piece of bread and started for
