Himari’s POV. - The blaring call of my name snaps me out of my reverie right in time with the expulsion of black fire that basks the air around me. Himari’s POV.-I watch with a warm smile as she pulls Zorien into her embrace, continuously fiddling with his hair as her other arm holds him tightly around the torso. Himari’s POV.-I don’t think I’ve ever met a guy as meek as Damon. Especially not a Demon. Himari’s POV. - Standing outside the supposed building I’ll be living from now on, I gulp, wearing my perplexity as I peer up at the rickety two-story building four feet away from my position. It’s situated behind the Packhouse and for starters, the porch looks so old and practically falling apart, with gathered patches of moss here and there. Then there’s the fading paint on the body of the house, giving it a very sickly appearance. ‘Oh boy, this is my new house?’ Truly, Omegas aren’t regarded with any form of respect at all. Himari’s POV. - I slam the door shut once I enter the toilet stall. Placing my hands over my heaving chest as I let my bag drop onto the floor. My knees buckle under my weight, knocking themselves out and bringing my back sliding down the door until my butt meets the tiled floor. Himari’s POV. - Jake squats next to my feet, reaching a hand to grab both my ankles with great pressure that has my body wringing from the pain affecting the area. Tears brim in my eyes as I bite my lips, pleading with my gaze as I meet his. He huffs, retracting his hand and standing up. I watch the silent way he rakes his eyes up and down my body and I recoil into myself. “Will you give it to me, when I tell you what it is I want, shrimp?” He smirks, a strange coating over his voice that drives nails of paranoia into my muscles as I cower beneath his penetrating stare. He’s going to start playing his stupid games again. “I want to have you, Himari.” Surprise defuses over me when those shady words vacate his lips and next I know, he picks me up roughly, gripping my hair tightly and pressing me against his chest forcibly.
