Himari’s POV.

Who is it? Why’re they delaying this long to make a move? Cold sweat rolls down my temple as my paranoia hits the ceiling. Should I ask who it is?

“Mari? Are you in there?”

Hah...relief purifies my fears and I jump to the door at once, quickly fumbling with the internal lock to bring the door open. Ciel quirks a brow of confusion as he steps in, “Why’re you in here? Was it, Loren, again? I should’ve reprimanded her for it that last time”.

“Ah...” Why’s he stepping in?

I continue to step back along his advancement until I’m back to my earlier position with Zorien. Dang it, do all boys like to have a girl pressed to a wall or something? Ciel keeps using his rants as an excuse to close the gap between us as I start to panic again and attempt to remind him of why I called him here.

He forces back my words when he dives, catching me off-guard with a gasp and sealing his lips on mine. ‘You’ve been getting a lot of this lately. Hang in there, Himari.’ Runa snicker
