The Soundtrap

Olivia, Sam and Scott left Captain Moss’ office.

“As if the damage already done by The Blessing was not enough,” Sam murmured.

“The briefing is scheduled to take place during the second half of the day. I would like to get a bite before that,” Scot said, ignoring Sam’s whining.

Olivia broke off from the group.

“Aren’t you joining us?” Scott asked.

“I’m good. I’m not eternally hungry like you,” she replied, taking a turn towards left.

She headed to an iron bench in the garden. She would rather spend the afternoon alone than hanging out with her colleagues. Her mind could use a little peace. The last few weeks had provided her with life changing experiences. She had been disowned by her family, yet again. And to make the matters worse she had lost faith in friendship after what Jill, who was actually Tabitha, had done to her.
