Charles stared at Sam. He could feel that something happened earlier as she looked embarrassed the moment she saw him.
“Y-yeah, I thought it was you who opened the door for me,” Sam confessed.
“So, what happened?” Charles was interested to know.
“I-I held his hand,” Sam mumbled as she lowered her head. She was ashamed of what she did.
Charles’s brows drew together. “Then?”
