The drive to town was a short one, but very pretty. Once he parked the car, I said, "We could've walked that distance." He said, "I know, but we don't know how fast you are going to run out of energy." I nodded and said, "True, but you also robbed yourself of the chance to carry me back." He smiled, "My mate knows me so well, already." I laughed, "That part really isn't hard to figure out." He laughed as he got out of the car. He ran around and opened my door for me, then helped me out of it. I smiled as he put his arm around me, tucking me against his side. He said, "So, where to first?"
