Zions' P.O.V.After dismissing Orian, Jessica, and Odett, Rain and I headed to my main office for some privacy. During our tour of the castle, I noticed several people listening in on our conversation out of curiosity about the females with us. Rains' P.O.V. As we walk back to Zions' office, my thoughts go to my mother. I hope she wasn't upset about me getting overwhelmed yesterday. I wanted to see her this morning, but Zion told me she had an emergency at the coven, and both she and Lady Lana had to leave to handle it. Zion even sent some worriers to assist them. "It's okay. Zions' P.O.V. We walked around the training grounds as I explained the different areas and what we use them for. We then make our way out of the training ground and find ourselves at the entrance of the main garden with its beautiful flower-filled archway. Orians' P.O.V. As Jessica and I are walking to the castle's front entrance, I look over at her and see a beautiful smile on her face as we walk by the big fountain in the center of the driveway. Rains' P.O.V. When I asked what we know about the attack on my mothers' coven, Sam replies, "Not much other than it was rogues, about thirty of them. And it was a surprise attack." And my mind starts going a hundred miles an hour in multiple directions. "That many rogues working together?" I say out loud without realizing it. But what Zion says next starts to pull everything together. "It has to be some kind of rogue army. But why attack a coven instead of a pack?" Zion says, and I think as I tune the rest of their conversation out. After I've told Jess everything that's happened and who I think is behind it all, I sit back while she thinks things through, and I wait for her to say I'm overthinking everything or that I've lost my mind. But she agrees with me. "Your things have been moved into your new room, my Queen." A sweet older lady with silver hair and kind brown eyes says as she bows. "Thank you, what is your name?" I ask. "Clair Jordan, your Highness." She answers. "I am your personal maid and the pups' nanny. Anything you may need, just ask, and it will be done." The Orphaned Queen The Water Is Perfect
Rains' P.O.V. After my mother explained how I used my magic unknowingly, for the first time, She also lets me know that we will be starting my training on the next full moon, which is tomorrow. The doctor checks me out again, and after giving me the all-clear, we decide to head back to the castle. On our walk back, Zion tells me that my mom will be moving into my old room across the hall from our suite. He also tells me that they will be moving my mothers' coven into the Kingdom till they can rebuild and heal from the attacks. Losing Lady Lana has had a new impact on the coven. "Orian and Sam will fill us in on everything they've learned from the warriors in the morning. And Lady Ezmerelda will also be getting pictures and a status report from the coven in the morning." Zion says as we make it to the castle. "Thank you," I say, looking up at him. "I know you don't have to keep me in the loop since I'm not the Queen yet. But I appreciate it.
The Orphaned Queen Release
I turn the water off as Zion steps out of the shower. I turn to step out, and Zion hands me a fluffy black towel and walks into our bedroom. I dried myself off, wrapping the towel around me, brushed my hair, and pulled it up loosely into a messy bun with my hair tie. After taking one last look in the mirror, I walk into our bedroom. As I walk past the bed to my closet, I notice a large black shirt that I assume is Zions' and a pair of my panties on the corner of our bed. My nerves skyrocket as I realize this will be our first night together. Like together together. My face, once again, heats up from blushing. Zion walks into the room, wearing only gym shorts, with a tray of cookies and two glasses of milk, and places the tray on the dresser under the T.V. mounted on the wall. "Let the fun begin!"
