“Come here little demon,” Talen sat with his back against the wall and patted his lap and Cameron scooped Aislen up in his arms, crawling the couple of steps to deposit her onto Talen’s lap. Talen stroked his cheek against hers, the bristles that were firmly taking hold of his jaw, slowly turning him back into the man that she had originally met in the pub in what felt so long ago, biting into her skin like miniature vampire teeth, seeking blood.

“You’re all raspy, daddy,” she teased him, and he chuckled under his breath. He hooked her knees hooked just above his, spreading her thighs, and encouraging her to lean back against his chest. Cameron did not miss the opportunity sliding forward on his stomach as sinuous and leanly muscled as a snake, kissing his way up her inner thighs as he nudged their legs wider with his shoulders.

I don't think she is going to be a problem, but I like that Talen is smart enough to realize that she could be, rather than blindly defending her because she's family.

This whole situation is heartwrenching for me. I agree Logan is unhinged, but also, he has been brainwashed and preyed upon by adults who knew better. I hope there's another way instead of Talen having to kill Megs. But because of his mates and his own principles, he must act. Poor Megs and Poor Tal
