With shaking knees Dianthe took steps backward to avoid Atty. Garette but the latter seemed to be eager to do whatever was in his mind. To her horror further, she felt her back on the wall. She is at her dead end.

Putting her in between his arms as he put them on the wall, Dianthe could not think of anything else but the cool manly scent of him, which intoxicates her, putting her mind in a dissolution state.

“Dianthe, I don’t know what you did to me, but you really charmed me. Tell me why did you choose my Dad over younger men?” Atty. Garette asked with his face just an inch away from her, fanning her face with his cool and menthol breath.

“I don’t want to answer your question, Atty. Garette, because I believe it is none of your business,” Dianthe retorted while trying to push him away.

“Was it because of my Dad’s money, Dianthe?” Atty. Garette persisted without letting her go. “I have as much money as my Dad,” he added.
