Chapter Forty Three:

“What’s wrong sister? You look angry. What did the doctor say?” Alan said as Reyna walked back into the room. His eyebrows scrunched up in worry immediately. No matter how uncomfortable he felt, he wanted his sister to be fine.

A smile bloomed on her face immediately as she bent down and stared into his face,

“Everything would be fine, all I need to do is see uncle and his wife, the operation still take place tomorrow. Don’t bother yourself with whatever they might be happening.” Reyna said, hurriedly patting his head and throwing him one of her smiles.

The both of them talked for a while, an attempt by her to make him believe she was really fine before she finally picked her bag and left.

Dumbfounded Larissa had no idea what was happening, glancing beteeen the door and Alan that’s as looking at her, she hurriedly smiled at him.

“Take care of yourself Alan, I’ll be here tomorrow and I’ll make sure to look after her. Don’t worry alright?” She said before walking outside the door.
