Alessandro sat in the darkened room of his study, every candle had been blown out. He sat facing the wall, he had been in that position for days now. His skin was paler than usual he hadn’t fed for a while. Despite the collaborative efforts of all the guards to find Isabella, there was no lead on her whereabouts. Alessandro absent-mindedly sat through the meeting. He had wanted to stay by Isabella when she woke up. He hoped to get the meeting over and done with as quickly as possible but these vampires seemed to have other plans. His father was not fully recovered and that bothered him greatly, he had a lot to deal with, and talking with the vampire kings was not on his priority list.
