I found myself amused by Emily's persistent concern. "Why are you always so worried about my affairs?"

Emily's response carried genuine emotion through the phone. "You're my only good sister; if I don't worry about you, who will? Besides, this is about your future happiness, so of course I need to put in more effort."

I listened quietly, sighing softly afterward. "Instead of worrying about me, you should worry about yourself, Emily. You haven't found a mate after all these years."

"Don't change the subject!" Emily quickly deflected. "Don't try to shift the focus to me. I'm talking to you very seriously right now."

Just as I was about to say something else, my phone buzzed with another message. The notification showed "Night Wolf" had sent a second text.

"Emily, he just messaged me again," I informed her.

Though not directly involved, Emily's excitement was palpable. "Quickly agree! Do exactly as I told you."
