Sally decided to go to the toilet so that she could think over there instead of staying here where everyone was looking at her and acting like they actually did pity her when in reality this is the kind of news they have been waiting to hear. Sally was wondering if he scolded her yesterday because he was trying to remind her that both of them are nothing other than just friends so that she doesn’t ruin things between him and his girlfriend.

What hurts the most is that both of them have already met; the first time she visited a family dinner, she could clearly remember her encounter with the girl, who was very rude, and she even almost slapped her until Kendrick came and helped.
