Let the games begin. Happy Reading!!
Graduation Day Pt. Two Nineteen: Corbin I’m so nervous about seeing Elijah that I cannot sit still. I’m already dressed and waiting for everyone else to come down. I couldn’t stay in that overcrowded apartment with everyone. I was starting to feel like I couldn’t breathe. Just sitting here on a bench under a big, huge tree that overlooks this little pond that the ducks seem to love to swim in. Contemplating my life and what I want to do in the future. “So, tell me what is going on in that head of yours.” I jump a little bit looking behind my shoulder and seeing my daddy standing there staring out over the pond also. I let out a sigh, looking back again. “You know you cannot hide anything from me. For instance, I know that you and Elijah have been best friends since you were little.” I stiffen as he walks around the bench and sits down next to me. “I also know that your friendship has turned into more. Something like a puppy crush on him. Then when he left you
Next to Her Twenty: Elijah Waking up is normal on any other day. Today it is very different. For some reason I feel lost and confused. Ever since yesterday when I seen Corbin, I have felt off. Feeling her eyes on me throughout my whole graduation ceremony was just weird. Then it got weirder when all of us were going to change back into our clothes and Char jumped out and cornered me. Just for a couple of seconds I had taken comfort in her touch. Then I smelled a smell that reminded me of Choco on a cold winter’s night. You know the kind your mom would make you with the peppermint candy mixed in with it. I had just registered that smell when Aragorn came to the forefront of my mind with so much rage that I was seeing red. I don’t know what happened exactly, but I ended up hurting Char with some kind of bright light that burst out of me. After that happened, I tried to talk to Aragorn, but it was like he was just gone. I had helped Char to her room and laid her
Lake House Twenty-One: Corbin I felt someone slid in beside me. I didn’t move, just kept staring out the window, that is until I heard the tell tail sounds of someone sniffing me. I stiffen my shoulder in disbelief as I lean my head down a little and sniff myself. I don’t smell anything but the dial soap I used when showering this morning. I lean back a little towards the seat as I glance over my shoulder. I stiffened once more as I swing my head back to the window. My heart thudding in my chest as I feel my hands sweat, my breaths coming quick. I hold my chest hoping that my heart doesn’t beat out of it. Elijah is sitting so close to me that our legs are plastered together. This is going to be one hell of a long ride to the lake house. Every time he moved, or I heard his voice flashes of what I had seen the day before flashes through my mind’s eye. The way he held that she-wolf’s hips, molding her to him. Her arms wrapped around his neck. One hand in his hai
Drunk Elijah Twenty-Two: Corbin After getting a little tipsy the parental units show up. Hascal and Eric were quick to hide the alcohol. I couldn’t help but laugh and run to the beach stripping off my clothes down to my bikini. I felt eyes staring at me, but I don’t care right now. I know that my body is toned and looks good as I have been training with my dad and daddy for the last two years now. “Damn Corbin where did that body come from?” I turn to look at Tabby and Aleah. “I’ve been training with dad and daddy of course.” I tell my sister. “Yeah, and I think all the guys have noticed to.” Aleah says with a wicked smile. I look around and see Elijah staring at me. I blush and shrug my shoulders as I run into the water. *** I’m worn out as hours later it is dark out and I had done it all just to get Elijah out of my mind. Now it is dark out. The bond fire is burning high and bright as I watch our parents disappear for the night. The guys once again break o
Hangover Twenty-Three: Elijah The feeling of having my arms wrapped around another warm body as my senses start to return to me. I take a deep breath and smell the peppermint chocolate smell surrounding me. I feel my Lycan, Aragorn start to move in my mind as my arms tighten around my prey. “Elijah, I cannot breathe.” I hear the groggy voice of my dreams. I try to cr*ck my eyes open but moan as the light hits them. Making my head throb like a mother. Moaning out loud I bury my head into whatever the softness in front of my face. Breathing heavy, her intoxicating scent making me dizzy as I realize that my face is buried in her hair. I feel mini me harden to the extent that it starts to hurt. A light chuckling I hear makes my heartbeat faster. “Is this a dream?” I mumble out as I try to remember what happened last night. “How did you get into my cabin?” I feel her trying to pull away from me. I relentlessly release her from my arms as I open my eyes once more t
Second Night Twenty-Four: Elijah The day had flew by. No one said anything to me about Corbin being missing from her cabin this morning. I did, however, get a few looks from Tabby and Aleah. Corbin must have made them promise not to say anything. I don’t know why as me and Corbin have been friends our whole lives. Sharing the same rooms. No one could ever break us apart. So why are they so worried about us being together now. It’s not like Corbin has feelings for me or anything. Not like I do for her. I mean sh*t, she wants to be just friends…. Just friends…. I don’t know how to be just friends with her. We are all on the beach once more. It’s starting to get late, and the bond fire is going once more. Corbin is with Tabby and Aleah as I’m with the guys eating a sandwich doing our girl watching thing. “So, how was Alpha school? Meet any she-wolf’s that finally get you to drop your pants?” Glancing at Eric I shake my head. “No, he wouldn’t do that to Corbin. H
Elijah Twenty-Five: Corbin I wasn’t paying any attention to Eli. Really, I’m not watching as he is chugging drink after drink of the wolfsbane laced alcohol that is being kept away from the humans. I’m standing around the bonfire enjoying the attention that my new friend Davis is giving me. It feels good to have someone that looks a lot like Eli paying me attention instead of hating on me. I’m still confused over last night and this morning. I know I had told him it is best if we stay friends. I mean what would be the use of telling him how I feel when he will be meeting his Fated Mate, then I will a day later. There just is no sense doing that now. My heart still hurts over the words I had told him. Especially when I remember the light kiss, I had given him when he had passed out last night. I look back to the group when Davis starts pulling on my shirt sleeve. “You want to go?” I blink my eyes a couple of times but have no idea what he is talking about. He
His Wish Twenty-Six: Corbin I freeze feeling him so close to me. Every molecule in my body comes alive and stands at attention waiting for him. For his next move. We must look like a couple with how close he is to me. That has always been my wish even to this day. He is my wish I wonder what his wish is. “Corbin.” I hear his breathy whisper tickling my ear. “Hmmmmm.” I reply still staring up at the stars in the nights sky. Wishing with all my heart that this night will never end. That is until I hear another voice calling my name. I turn, breaking the spell that both of us are under. My heart breaks when Eli takes a step back turning at the same time. When I do, it is to see Davis running up to me. Dripping wet, with a towel around his waist. “Hey Corbin, we are all heading to one of the guy’s mansion for a party. You in?” He says smiling at me until he sees Elijah standing off to my side. What surprises me is hearing the low growl coming from Eli. Glancing o
