Chapter 13

Leonardo and Richard took forever to leave displeasing Aldridge who wanted to clear the air with Shawn and when they finally did leave, it was already evening and Shawn was not seen at lunch and dinner even though he was invited to eat with them.

Aldridge went around asking where Shawn was and it was only when he spoke to Miriam that he got the report that Shawn was asleep in his chamber and the chamber servants attested her words.

Aldridge rushed to the chamber and opened the door. Peeking his head in he saw that Shawn was lying across the bed without a shirt on and on his stomach with his eyes closed and mouth parted.
