CHAPTER NINE

Camila's POV

A knock on my door jolted me awake. I sat up in bed, looking at my bedside clock, realizing it was fifteen minutes before I was to wake up. The knock came again and I wondered who it was very early this morning.

I walked over to the door as I tied my robe. I pulled the door open and I came face to face with Adrian who was staring down at me with crossed arms. "Your Highness…" I bowed my head. "What do you want from me this early morning, sir?"

He handed me a black folder and I pulled it open, it was the contract I asked him to draft for us. "I brought the contract to you." He said and I looked up at him in disbelief.

"It's 5 am in the Dawn, your highness." I pointed out and he just shrugged. "Are you trying to get me to read it while I'm still sleepy so you can take advantage of me through the contract, and add additional details we didn't agree on?"

"I'm not asking you to sign it standing on the spot so I guess I am being accused falsely here, young woman." He replied
