Chapter 34 - Darius

I still can’t believe what a colossal prick her dad is. What kind of father would think that way, let alone speak such things to their daughter? Granted, I can’t say for sure how my parents will take this. Dad does have the occasional tendency of being a stuck-up prat like many other Frosts. Mom is also a wild card. She may be cool with it, or she may freak out. 

We’ll handle it if or when it comes to that. We won’t let anyone get between Riko and us. Not even our parents. We are three very stubborn men, and our parents know that. So they should know that when we set our mind to something, we do it. And we’ll take on her dad, too, if need be. No one gets to make our girl feel bad for being with us. 

The rest of the school day felt like it was dragging. The only bright spot was lunch. I couldn’t help but smile when I saw her walk out of trig and directly to me, wrapping her arms around me.

“Hi Darius,” she greeted, leaning her head against my chest.
