Nothing happens during the meeting, and the tension seems to get lighter with time. The meeting gets over, and I walk past all the officers(noblemen) to leave the hall. I look at each of them... wondering how many are expecting to kill me, how many are rooting for the revealed treason.

For a fact, I know I can't trust any of them.

And if a Queen can't trust his fellow officials, it's a damn failure right there. I really wish I could know their thoughts. But I am no mind reader.

I walk out of the hall and meet the rest of the guards, including Micah. I give him a short smile, and we walk to the right in the corridor.
