Violette POV

“Why.. didn’t you j-just ask.. me earlier?” I asked. He had every opportunity, yet he didn’t bring it up at all. Was he.. nervous? No.. surely not.

“I don’t know.. I probably should have.” He chuckled.

“What ex-exactly are we doing?” I asked.

“Umm.. to be truthful.. I hadn’t had that much planned out.” He said with a smile.

“Are.. you serious?” I asked as I giggled. He shook his head.

“I planned a few things. If you’re up for it.” He looked at me as if waiting for an answer.. but I was still so shocked that he would even do such a thing for me.

“A yes would be lovely..” he laughed. It made me giggle.

“Yes, of co-course.” I said. I leaned back and looked out of the carriage window.

“May I sit next to you? It is a long ride.. maybe you could nap.” He said. I moved over and he crossed over and sat next to me.

“It’s strange not smelling your scent.” He said. I cocked my eyebrow at him.
