Viktor POV

Enzo and Violette waited patiently for me standing by the water and looking out into the distance. I was ready to show her what I had planned next.. to see the look on her face.

“Are you ready?” My voice made her turn around.

“Y-yes.” She said softly. I reached for her hand and she grabbed mine.

We walked to the carriage and I helped her in before climbing in behind her.

I took my seat beside her and she smiled.

“You se-em a bit diff-different.. today.” She said.

“Ahh.. yes. I just had time to think.. and I figured you’d enjoy getting out.. after everything. If you haven’t noticed I’m quite fond of you.” I said.

Her face turned a bright shade of pink and she looked away.

“Don’t do that.. don’t look away. I enjoy seeing your face.” I said. I turned her head by resting my finger under her chin.

“I’m.. sorry.” She whispered.

“Don’t be. Now, the ride isn’t very long, so unfortunately I cannot pleasure you.. but I would like to get to know more about you.” I said. S
