Twenty-five Minutes Before The Attack
Everyone was busy having their lunch happily as Theo would crack jokes with his tiny voice from time to time, making them laugh. “Oh, here comes the old woman!” Theo exclaimed as all eyes turned to the entrance as the Pack Oracle made her entrance. “Little Alpha, how many times do I have to tell you that my name is…" The Oracle's words were cut off immediately by Theo. “Yeah, I know, I know… Your name is Grandma Anastasia.” Theo said happily as he clapped his hands together. The rest burst into loud laughter. Theo is indeed one of the best gifts the moon goddess gave Snow-White Moon pack. With him around, everyone's moods will always be light. “Oracle, please have a seat.” Luna Crystal called for her to have a seat, which the Oracle gladly did. Everyone peeked at each other. They were very much aware that the Pack Oracle doesn't come to the pack house unless she has an important message from the moon goddess. The Oracle has her own little house built on the outskirts of the pack, near where the lake stream passes. She needed a quiet and secluded place for her meditations with the moon goddess. “Why is everyone looking at each other in that way? Can't I come and have a meal with my pack members? Who knows, this might be our last meal together.” Her words made Alpha Noah and his mate, Luna Crystal, shift in their seat. Her statement had a great meaning. But they will wait until she explains it. The Oracle will never say something like that unless she knows something was about to happen. “When I grow up, I will want a beautiful Luna, just like my mom.” Theo's voice suddenly broke the tension at the dining table. “Sure you will, but who said your mate will have to be “SHE”? The Oracle asked as she pinched the little boy's nose. “Huh? Why not she? She means a girl. My mom is called Luna because she is a girl. Are we not supposed to have girls as mates?” Theo asked with his blue eyes sparkling. No one was actually shocked at his statement. They knew Theo is not just like any other kid. The little boy has a mindset of an adult. “Not really, my boy, not every mate has to be a girl. A boy and a boy can also be mates. What matters is how they strengthen their mate bond. They will have to care for and love each other more than most of the normal mates bound between a boy and a girl.” The Oracle took her time and explained it to the little boy, who still looked confused. “But how can we have a baby like me if my mate is also a boy like me?” Theo asked, and his question made everyone laugh. He looked at everyone without understanding why they were laughing. “My child, in rare cases, some boys can also give birth. Remember, we are not hundred percent humans. We are half animal and half human. So, our reproduction system is quite different from other normal humans. In all, a boy can also give birth in rare cases.” The Oracle continued explaining to the little boy, who was busy stuffing his mouth with food. It seemed he didn't even care about the explanation the old woman was giving him. The rest continued with their lunch, but the Alpha and his Luna, together with their Beta Michael and Gamma Jason, were not convinced about the Oracle's visit. “Listen to me, little Alpha…” The Oracle said and made Theo sit on her lap so that he could listen attentively to what she was about to tell him. “What is it, old grandma?” Theo asked her with his innocent blue eyes blinking several times. The Oracle heaved a sigh before she spoke… “My child, you always have to remember that, the moon goddess knows what she does, and has prepared a “Promise Mate” for you. Your mate will stand by your side and fight his own kind alongside you. He will love and cherish you as if you are his life. He will heal your wounds with his love and care. The future ahead of you is dangerous, my child, but always remember that with your “Promise Mate” beside you, both of you shall conquer your enemies. I don't know if you will remember this when you grow up, but never let what will happen today ruin your life, child. You have a bigger responsibility ahead. But you can never accomplish it without your “Promise Mate." The Oracle spoke gently to Theo, who kept nodding his head as if he understood what the old woman was saying Everyone became silent at the dining table and stared at Theo and the Oracle attentively. Their instincts immediately told them something bad was about to happen that day. But they didn't know what exactly might happen. If it is war, then they will fight with their lives. But what if it is not just any war but worse than that... Meaning their DOOM. Not so long when one of the warriors entered with half of his skin burned. “THE PACK IS UNDER ATTACK BY THE DRAGONS!” He shouted and immediately fell dead after his announcement. “WHAT??” Everyone gasped in shock as they stood up from their seat to face the danger. "Who dares to attack our pack?” One of the warriors growled in anger. "Yes! Who has the guts to attack our pack! Are they seaking for death?" Another one chimed in furiously. “The Dragon King…” the oracle answered calmly, adding another shock to the people. “What? What do you mean by that, Oracle? What would the dragon king want with our pack? Why would he attack our pack?” Beta Michael spat anxiously. The Oracle didn't say anything but turned her head to face Alpha Naoh...“The Dragon King…” the oracle said, adding another shock to the people. “What? What do you mean by that Oracle? What would the dragon king want with our pack? I mean, why would he want to fight with us? We have no enmity between him and our pack, right?” Beta Michael spat anxiously. He couldn't wrap his head around why the dragon would suddenly attack their pack. “He had written a letter to me two months ago. He wants our pack to be under his feet and live as his slaves. He gave me two options, It's either we worship him and make him ruler over all the species, or he would destroy our pack and every opposing pack as he did to the other packs.” Alpha Noah explained hurriedly as he paced around. The nerve of that dragon king to challenge his pack and threaten the lives of his pack members. “What the fuck is wrong with him? Who does hw think he is?” One of the warriors asked in shock. “The Dragon King is only tasty for powers. He has always been wanting to rule over all
“Alpha! They've breached the border!” Someone shouted from outside suddenly. Alpha Noah handed Theo to Michael. "He's your responsibility now, my friend. Protect and guide him to your best ability. I trust you." Alpha Noah said and immediately shifted into his wolf after saying that. Luna Crystal glanced one last time at her son and smiled before she shifted into her wolf after her mate and ran outside, knocking and crashing everything on their way. The Oracle also kissed Theo's hair and whispered, "Goodbye, my boy. Remember, my name is..." "Grandma Anastasia!" Theo completed her statement as the little boy started crying. He didn't even know why he was crying. It's like the tears juat flowed on their own. The Oracle shifted into her wolf and ran off. Though she was old, yet she has the power to support her pack before their downfall. And she was willing to die alongside her pack members. Followed by their Gama, Jason, who smiled sadly at Beta Michael, his brother, be
“Our Queen…” Michael's eyes widened in astonishment as he beheld the Dragon Queen standing before him. Why had she protected them from Bismarck's fireballs? Was she not supposed to kill them just as her king was doing to his pack? “My Queen, could you please explain your presence here? I was under the impression that the King said—” Bismarck was speaking when the Dragon Queen interrupted him. “I will be taking this man and the boy away. If you intend to kill them, you must confront me first. Are you certain you wish to do that?!” The Dragon Queen spoke with a calm demeanor, yet her authority was unmistakable to those nearby. Just her presence alone spoke royalty and authority. Bismarck's eyes widened at her declaration. He would never dare to challenge the Dragon Queen. But why would the queen want to save these people? Nevertheless, he felt compelled to obey the Dragon King’s orders and assist in annihilating everyone from the Snow-White Moon Pack. Bismarck found himsel
Seeing their son safe, Alpha Noah bellowed, “The Future Alpha is Safe! Fight With All Your Might!” His proclamation spurred his warriors into action, invigorated by the news of their young Alpha's safety. It was as if they were energized by such revelation as they fought really hard. “Mathias!!! Stop hiding and face me, you spineless coward! MATHIAS!!” Alpha Noah roared. He so badly wanted to kill that bastard. “Hahaha! Looks like you’ve missed me, Alpha Noah. My bad for arriving late. I trust my boys haven’t taken out too many of your people?” Mathias emerged from the underbrush with a mocking tone. “You friend!! Rotten animals like would never know the meaning of friendship. So don't spout nonsense with that dirty mouth of yours!!” Luna Crystal snarled and lunged at him suddenly. “CRYSTAL!! NOOOO!!!” Alpha Noah called out in horror, but it was too late. King Mathias hurled a fireball at her, instantly burning her to death. “LUNA!!” The warriors growled in anguish as t
It felt like an eternity for both Theo and Michael on the back of the dragon flying in the sky. Theo had fallen asleep in Michael's embrace after crying his eyes out. They soon came into a certain place that seemed like a pack with a thick fence around it. The dragon queen landed on the ground and shifted back to her human form after Michael woke up Theo up and clomws down off get back. “Come, let's go inside.” The Dragon Queen said when she saw how both Michael and Theo were surprised, looking at the fence. “Wow… What the fuck is this place?” Michael couldn't help but asked as his eyes started roaming around everywhere. “This is a place that I built just to protect the werewolves. I just feel bad at how my King, who is unfortunately my husband is treating and killing other species. So, I built this place to help and protect any pack members who lose their homes because of my husband. Don't worry, he can't find this place.” The Dragon Queen explained as she showed them aroun
“Did you people kill them? Did the bad dragons kill them? But why? Why did you kill my parents? I love my mom and dad, but you killed them…” Theo said as he was no longer sobbing, but wailing. His cries caught the attention of the rest around, and they all became sad. The little boy's cries broke their heart. Michael and Granny couldn't hold back their tears as they also sobbed hard. Of course, their Alpha and Luna, together with their Pack Oracle and members, are gone from their lives. “I'm sorry, my child, I'm really sorry!” The Dragon Queen said and hugged Theo for comfort as the little boy cried. “My Queen, sorry to interrupt, but we have to leave!” One of the dragons said anxiously as she kept glancing at the sky. “Listen to me, my child…" When you grow up, you will meet a boy named Ashton. He shall be your Promise Mate. He shall be the one to heal your wounds deep inside your heart. He shall be the one to bring you back to the right track when you have deviated from it.
**18 YEARS LATER** **PRESENT AT DARK SHADOW MOON PACK** “Knock, knock!” Alpha Theoheard, someone knocking on his office door and knew it was his Beta, Mason. “Come in!” he answered with a deep, masculine voice, not taking his eyes off the file on his desk. “Hey, what’s up?” Mason greeted, making himself comfortable in one of the chairs. Mason was among the select few whom Alpha Theo had learned to trust over the years, allowing them to be closer to himself. Nevertheless, Theo was not open to everyone. Many had to fight hard to earn even a nod of approval from him. He was no longer the naive boy who was quick to smile and share jokes. For the last eighteen years, Alpha Theo had not smiled. Not even once. His expression was typically one of a scowl or a cunning smirk reserved for his enemies. Following their rescue by the dragon queen, Theo resided in a sanctuary for homeless werewolves established by her until he turned eighteen. Upon completing his first shift, Theo returne
ASHTON REFUSED TO SUBMIT TO ANY OF THEM. Just like at this very moment… Alpha Nicholas descended into the dungeons and headed directly to Ashton's cell, where he was with a small boy named Rickey. Rickey, who is currently 15 years old, was captured alongside his parents and Ashton when he was just twelve. Unfortunately, his parents lost their lives a few months prior. Ashton made it his mission to protect Rickey at all costs, seeing him as a younger brother. Whenever the Alphas or their warriors intended to exert their will over Rickey, Ashton willingly stepped in to bear their assaults in Rickey's stead. “Come here, you filthy little dragon!” Alpha Nicholas barked, prompting the frightened boy to drag his battered and weak body towards Ashton, seeking refuge behind him. Ashton remained seated, unbothered by the Alpha's presence, while he held Rickey close to him. One notable aspect that Alpha Nicholas and the others observed about Ashton was that he was impervious to their Al
"Anakin!"Brandon shouted as he woke up from his sleep in a panic. His heart was racing, and his sheets were drenched with sweat.Dustin, who was sleeping beside him, was jolted awake by Brandon's sudden outburst. "What's wrong, my love?" He was breathing heavily, and his body was tense.Dustin could see the panic written all over his face, and he knew that something was seriously wrong. I saw him in my dream. He's in danger!" Brandon exclaimed, his voice trembling with fear. Dusti

Few days later, Anakin was home alone when the doorbell rang. He immediately went to open it and to his shocked, Divine stood in front of him with unreadable expression. Anakin was shocked to process what he was seeing but when he came back to his senses, he immediately enguled Divine in a tight hug, his eyes almost brimming with tears.Only the moon goddess and dragon lord knew how happy and relieved he felt."Divine, where in the world have you been?" As Anakin drove back into the human world, his heart was racing with excitement. He couldn't wait to see his mate, Divine, and share all the had experiences he had in search of Ember over the past two weeks. The drive to their house seemed to take forever, but finally, he arrived at his destination. The anticipation had been building up inside him for what felt like an eternity. He envisioned the two of them sitting on the couch, laughing and reminiscing about their time of being away from each other. As he pulled up to the house, Anakin's excitement only grew. He grabbed his bags and rushed to the front door, bursting through it with a huge smile on his face. "Divine!" he called out, expecting his mate to be right there, waiting for him.But as he entered the house, he was met with an eerie silence. The rooms were empty, and there was no sign of Divine anywhere. Anakin's excitement began to fade, replaced by a growing sense of unease. Where was Divine? It was a weekend, and there
Two weeks had passed since Anakin's arrival at the parlck, and his determination to find his missing sister had only grown stronger. Every corner of the pack had been scoured, every nook and cranny explored, but there was no sign of her. It was as if she had vanished into thin air, leaving behind only a trail of unanswered questions. Every day, he would venture out into the forest with his two friends. They would search and search but would always return empty handed. Anakin's thoughts were consumed by his sister's disappearance. He couldn't shake the feeling that something was terribly might be wrong with his sister's now, and such thought always made him mad. He had always been protective of her, and now he felt guilty for not being able to find her. He wondered if he was doing enough, if there was something he was missing. Would things had been different if he didn't leave the pack? Elijah, his grandfather, had mobilized the dragons to search for his missing girl. There was a
As Anakin sat there, frozen in indecision, he felt like he was being pulled in two different directions. His heart was telling him to go to his sister's aid, but his mind was warning him to prioritize his mate's safety. The conflict was tearing him apart, making it hard for him to think clearly. In the midst of this emotional turmoil, Anakin knew he needed to make a decision. He couldn't stay stuck in this state of indecision forever. He took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing thoughts and focus on the present moment. But the weight of his emotions was crushing him, making it hard for him to think clearly. He could just take Divine wth him. But he hasn't even come clean with him about his real identity as a werewolf. He feared how Divine would react to such revelation. He sat up and his eyes locked on Divine's. He could see the understanding and concern in his mate's gaze, and it filled him with a mix of emotions. He felt a pang of guilt for leaving Divine behind, but he kne
