IVY

I never had a mother, I never had the feeling of warmth or knowing I had one until the seer found me.

I grew up, not knowing who I'm, what I'm. Living on the street from the age of five till I found my way to Dustspire city and ever since then my life changed.

I am among a thousand children that the seer and her people have saved and in return we do what is asked of us and I have been a faithful child.

We were trained in the act of deception, war and our fighting skill was better than the average soldier in Moonlit Pack.

That was the reason I was sent on the mission to keep an eye on the new Luna who was arriving in the pack after my first shift.

I never questioned the Seer. Not once.

She gave me a name. A place. Food.

She gave me purpose.

So when she told me to watch Ayla Stormbringer, I didn’t ask why.

I said yes.

At first, it was easy. Ayla was quiet, lost. She didn’t even know her own strength. I thought she would break in a few days, maybe cry, maybe run.

But she didn’t.
