CHAPTER 62 - The Mating

Amarah could feel herself blushing at the boldness that she is currently showing Clayton. But she told herself silently that it’s either now or never. Ever since the night that he admitted and told her truthfully about Erika, she had noted that he became caring and open with her.

She recalled one night where she told him that she was bored, and he laid out to her the plans that he did for the upcoming mating festival. He explained to her the preparations that his pack is doing and told her what’s going to happen during the festival.

With nothing to do mostly in the evening, she had almost finished reading and scanning through the books that Clayton has in his office, which also constitutes a small library. She had also brought home some books from the center and studied through it. But her mind also became heavy with information overload. She became hungry for other things and she had told Clayton about it.
