Deadly Accusations

Damian outstretched his hand for Shaylin to take, wanting nothing more to have her all to himself, at least for a short while.

“We also have a dinner planned with the ranking members this evening before you return home. I believe your brother is also invited,” Damian added in a less than confident tone that made his declaration sound almost like a question as he scratched his head awkwardly, knowing Shaylin will not be too thrilled about that. He was right, no doubt.

“Oh, what fun…” Shaylin rolled her eyes.

After exploring the pack grounds further and meeting people, they went back to the pack house. Promising to show her the rest of the villa later before the dinner starts, Damian led Shaylin straight to his room, eager to show her just how much he missed her. He was not alone in that either; Shaylin was the one to alienate herself but she never stopped missing the warmth of his skin either.
