Chapter 17: A Big Baby

Alex left three hours ago and Evie was alone in the highest floor in this building.

It’s almost lunch break and she didn’t know if she wanted to go out and have her lunch outside or go to the office canteen.

She sighed and her mind play the scene where Alex left for his business trip.

“Don’t forget to eat your lunch, baby. I gave you my permission and full access to my other car if you want to go out and have your lunch in another place.” He said and kissed her forehead lovingly.

“Fine. Thank you. And you too. Don’t forget to eat and sleep well.. you look tired..” She said smiling at him.

She remember Alex said he might be out of town for two days.

“I will baby. But I hope I sleep in your arms more. It helps me..” He said, hugging her tight, put his head inside her neck line, taking her scent.
