Chapter 16: I'm The Boss

It’s half past seven in the morning.

And Evie was already sitting on her desk, prepare herself for today’s hectic work.

Alex still not coming yet and today he was as busy as another day.

It’s been more than a week since she work here. And she couldn’t say much about her job other than she loves it.

This was really match with the major she took in collage. Her skill and talent were used, and also seemed to progressed a lot with Alex and John help.

Of course, one of the reason she’s happy with her job, was Alex.

It’s somehow calming her when he was around.

The elevator made a ding sound and someone’s footsteps could be heard coming towards her direction.

She knew who it was really well, his shadow towering her. His perfume were already filled in her nose and she smiled.

She looked up but immediately met with Alex lips.

He pressed his lips on her soft lips. Three seconds past and Evie felt his peck two times before let her go.

“Good morning, baby.” His deep voice sounds so sexy
