In the blink of an eye, it had been three months since the Council meeting took place in Venetia. In those three months Lord Clitus planned to show the Venetian Lord Demetrius that he was smarter, even if it meant a little.

"Lord, this is the information we have found. It's said that the Elamite' Emperor Ronald adopted a human newborn girl," one of Clitus' men said, giving a document to him.

Looking at it Clitus smirked evilly, "How nice.... A human princess. Keep an eye on that girl, there must be something very important about the girl."

In the Elamite Empire, Clitus had his human informers deployed there, as the vampires were unable to cross the boundaries of Elamite. But he had no idea about the Demetrius' messengers in his territory. When the Lords were ordered to move back to their regions, Andrew had his informants behind Lord Clitus.

It was true that the massacre that happened three months back was because of Lord Clitus' conspiracy, but there was no solid proof against him. So, the trial that was proposed in the last Council meeting was cancelled. Now Lord Demetrius was more interested in the interest of Lord Clitus for the little princess of Elamite.

Where the Venetian vampire Lords were going through the cold conflict between them, Arianna was wholeheartedly accepted in the Elamite.

Arianna :6| Elliot: 16

The time flies by and it's been six years since Ronald and Katherine found their little Arianna. In these six years, the Elamite empire was grown financially as well as the population of the empire was also increased. Everyone thought that Arianna was the golden charm of Elamite.

In the Elamite empire, Elliot walked with Arianna in the pastureland as guards walked behind them. The pastureland was situated next to the Merlin land, covering a part of the estate with grass and flowers.

Elliot looked at his sister as the little girl spoke about her favourite flowers. He noticed the smile and happiness that was plastered on the little girl's face. Arianna was never restricted by Ronald to wander around in the Empire, though he knew he had to keep her safe and secure. But abandoning the little girl in her growing age was wrong, so Elliot always accompanied her.

Elliot was someone whom Arianna loved the most. He was a hero in her eyes. The first word that little Arianna spoke was 'dadda' and that to her big brother.

"Dadda, what's there?" Arianna asked Elliot when they sat down to eat something, pointing towards the landmark of Merlin land. She was always fascinated by the Merlin' land and that was the only prohibited area for her.

"There's nothing there, Ana. Now finish your favourite sandwiches, otherwise I'll eat it," Elliot replied, completely changing the topic.

"No! Shoo dadda these are mine," she said and he chuckled at her behaviour.

"It's all your, princess. How's your school going?" Elliot spoke.

"It's fine dadda except that Alexander, he always troubles me," Arianna spoke with a piece of sandwich in her mouth.

Alexander was the future alpha of "grey moonstone pack" , and was four years older than her.

Before Elliot could say anything, a guard came around, "Prince Elliot," the guard motioned him to come closer, so that they were at a safe distance from Arianna's innocent ears.

"Ana, do not leave this place. Dadda will be back in five minutes," Elliot spoke while warning little Arianna.

"Promise?" She asked in a soft voice.

"Yes, promise," Elliot said looking at her.

"Okay," she whispered and Elliot went with the guard after ruffling his little sister's hairs.

It has been thirty minutes since Elliot left and Arianna was growing impatient second by second. Considering what her dadda said, Arianna didn't want to leave the place before her eye caught a beautiful rose. She rose and started walking towards the rose.

When the Fletcher witches visited Arianna, they casted a protection spell around her which also abandoned her to cross Elamite. But the rose that fascinated her was blooming in the Merlin' land.

Arianna was about to place her small feet in Merlin' land, when she felt a strong push backwards.

She stood there for a few fleeting seconds and then she held both of her small hands in front that indicated that she was trying to break the spell. After a few moments, her body emerged in the golden light. With a little push in the opposite direction of Elamite, the spell was broken. Now the door of Elamite was opened to the vampires.

The little Arianna stepped in the Merlin' land and started walking towards the flower rose. When she bent to pluck the flower a vampire came in picture and was now standing in front of her. Arianna didn't say anything but backed away slowly as her hands trembled in fear.

"You kept us waiting for so long little girl," the man said, seeing her bolt towards the tree to hide behind but he was faster, "A small helpless human under a vampire's pity."

Arianna was cornered and had nowhere else to go. When the man in front of her jumped for her, she squeezed her eyes shut waiting to be hurt but nothing happened. Opening her eyes slowly she saw Demetrius standing in front of her and the man lying on the ground. Moving her gaze towards Demetrius, she found him smiling towards her.

"Please don't kill me," she whispered.

"I won't," he said.

Demetrius knew a spy was sent to the Elamite empire to collect information regarding the small girl. It has been six years since the girl was found in the basket and it was her birthday today. He knew Lord Clitus' spies would be waiting for that one chance to kidnap the small girl.

"I want to go to my dadda," Arianna spoke, looking towards the dead man lying in the ground.

"It's alright," he said looking at the girl. A sob left her lips and she buried herself in the man's arms, crying softly. The moment when their skins came in contact, the electric pull that he was feeling intensified beyond belief.

The past six years have been hell for Demetrius. Not knowing the reason behind his strong blood lust, he had ripped apart the necks of hundreds of women in six years. The last when he felt like this was when she was alive.

Allison, his beloved.
