Nicholas's POV.

I dash through the air, speeding right into the house like a flash. When I arrive in the lounge, I stop and take notice of my surrounding. I know no one would be around by this time, but my instinct can't be depressed, hence my reason.

"Kira." I call.

She clears her throat and appears as a Three-D opposite to me, a faceless head, coming out from the wall but I can tell even without an eye, it is looking at me. She is looking at me. "I thought you'd never call my name."

"You are not with Anastasia, so you need not use the word, "thought"." I tell her, but she laughs instead. What the heck?

"Also, you're in your house, so you need not run in like it's not yours." She contradicts with something I never expected.

"Well, as it is my house, I can do as I please."

"Nah, you're a Vampire, not a Human, if you want me to remind you, so you are meant to be different. That is a human thing. You have to have courtesy. Like, how old are you now? Eight hundred
