Chapter Twenty-Two.

Anastasia's POV.

I am standing at the entrance to the gym center. Kira is silent, and I so wish she is in a human form, so I could know what she's up to right now.

Reason for my act of hypnotism: In front of me, at a near distance, is Nicholas, shirtless. He is working on his balance, on a beam.

His hands hold the bar, and once he's gripped it tightly, I literally heard him breathe out, before leveling into the air, using the bar to hold himself from falling.

He manages to attain a straight figure for a while, a long while, I think, because right now, my brain isn't functioning as it should.

I am jaw-dropped right now, staring at his muscles as they pop out. His warm beige skin is practically flawless, except for a very little reddish line from stress, that if I hadn't paid too much attention, I wouldn't have noticed.

He looks like a some yet-to-be-discovered Greek god when his hair falls on his face, covering his forehead and a bit of his left eye.
