“What the fuck are you lookin’ at?!”

Nicole snapped at a nerd-looking boy as she passed by the corridor. Being caught by her piercing eyes, even if just by pure mistake or just an unintentional movement of the eye. She was having a bad day again today. Well, to everyone around her, she is always in a bad mood and always having a bad day.

But today, she really had it her worst. Maybe it’s her aunt flow’s visit on its way coming over this month. Aside from that, she just found out. Her parents won’t be home again for a month-long due to a business trip abroad. She is an only child. Her parents are the well-known business tycoons in the capital, so she is living and is treated like a princess. But they are busy all the time. She is full of superficial things, and she lives her life in luxury, but she is emotionally craved. Indeed, no one can have everything in life.

Nicole Parker.

She is hot, rich, and deadly smart.

Being a genius with an IQ level of 153, she was accelerated from her classes that she graduated High School at the age of sixteen. Now, she’s in her second year in Neurobiology, and she will be celebrating her birthday in two days’ time, but her parents aren’t going to be with her again. Yes, again. They always seem to be busy all the time, even at family events where they are supposed to be spending time together. As if they would starve if they ever take a rest and have a nice meal with her on her birthday.

As her way to retaliate, a way to get their attention, she became rebellious. But she is so rebellious that she seems to be angry about every little thing all the time. She would bully people around her. From home to school and everywhere she may be.

Their maids and menservants couldn’t last long working for them because she would always make things difficult and drive them to give up and quit. Only a few who had been with them ever since she was a kid can stand her tantrums, look over things, stay to serve her family, or serve her almost most of the time. Her nanny, now a lady in her early fifties, understands her more than her parents. And she is the only person Nicole ever gives in to, hears out, and trusts. She started making trouble at school when she was in mid-school.

Ever since then, she has been known to be the “Queen of Bullies.” Nobody dares to reprimand, discipline, or offend her. Her temper is the worst anyone can ever encounter. She is a bitch to everyone. She oppressed and bullied everyone that pricked her eyes. Boys and girls. Students and teachers, no one has ever managed to win over her. She rarely, or rather, never smiles. She seems annoyed when she sees people with slow understanding. Even the teachers can’t escape from her measuring gazes when they are in front of the class lecturing. They feel like walking on eggshells during their lectures, uneasy, knowing they have to be very aware that they are sure their information is accurate, or else, Nicole will absolutely interfere. And interfering means embarrassing them in front of the class. No matter how many or little the count of students there is.

Yet, despite all these facts, many boys drool over her. Men of all ages fantasize about being her lover. It is common knowledge for everyone that she sleeps with whoever she fancies sleeping with. There has even been gossip that she sleeps with the teachers when she feels like it. No one dares to come clean, deny or admit it. So no one except those who are involved can tell whether it is really true or not. Nicole doesn’t care. Being talked about, even in this way, is already attention she would love to have. She deals with them in ways she will enjoy. She would even play along sometimes. While the men involved in the issue feel honored to have their names attached to hers on a gossip. It boosts their masculinity.

Her bad mood needs to be appeased. She has to do something or find someone whom she can vent her rage into. That poor nerd guy in the hallway was too misfortunate to get caught by her eyes, but Nicole lost interest in him because he backed down very quickly.

She arrived at her classroom, and a new face caught her eyes again.

“Hey, meet me at the gym later at three o’clock!” Nicole knocked on the desk of the guy she saw interesting today.

“Me?” The guy was startled to look up and see her face.

“Yes, you. Any problem?” With one eyebrow up, she provocatively asked. She liked that he was trying to reason out, unlike the other guy earlier who would easily fold before her.

“I…. I still have a class at three,” the guy stuttered. He was surprised. He didn’t know Nicole as he had just transferred yesterday from a distant city.

“Do you think I care? If you make me wait for even a second, I will make your life a living hell!”

That was all she said before walking to her seat. The students around quietly glanced at one another. They can’t even make a hissing sound as they know it would offend or annoy Nicole. If that happens, not only will the new guy be in a hot seat, but everyone else.

The guy was unaware as he didn’t hear anyone say anything. He didn’t take Nicole’s threat as seriously as everybody else. A fact that he was totally clueless about.

Mike Wilson.

The new guy at school. Strikingly handsome with a face that can replace a model in a top-rated fashion magazine. A deliciously sexy body of a swimmer athlete. Wide shoulder blades, firm chest, narrow waist, and long-legged feature. One could wonder if he came from Olympus and he’s one of the Gods himself. His piercing blue eyes are cold but inviting to stare at. His prominent nose accentuates the perfect shape of his face. His thin upper lips look equitable to his full lower lips. His curly raven hair intensifies his manly tanned complexions. He just moved to the new city because his only family, his big brother, was relocated as a swimming instructor at the Green Valley Senior High. He didn’t have to worry about being a newbie here. He was confident he could ask his bro for help in case he needed it.

  • The Queen of Bullies   Happy Ever After!

“Really?” Jude Parker said. “I didn’t hear the sound of it.” “When did the two of you leave the room?” Nicole asked worriedly. “When Chris said she needed to pee,” Mac answered innocently. “I see,” Nicole answered. “Did you ask for help from the nannies?” the mother asked gently. “Mac helped me. Right, Mac?” the little girl widened her eyes to her bother as if telling him to just agree. “Ah, yeah. Right!” Mac answered after nodding with his eyes closed to Chris as if affirming Chris’ words to be true. But their actions made the people around them doubt that whatever they were saying was the entire truth and nothing but the truth! “I have to welcome my guest,” Jude said. Then he turned to Lisa and the twins. “Do you mind if you guys come with me?” “Let’s go!” The twins answered excitedly. “The two of you should take your time. Mike, she cannot walk with speed yet like we normally do. Can I entrust her to your care or shall I do it myself?” Jude asked seriously. “Please,

  • The Queen of Bullies   Epilogue 2 Willingness

“First things first,” Jude said. He fished his phone out of his pocket and right in front of everyone at the table, he dialed a number and spoke like he was alone in the room. “My friend, am I not going to beat around the bush.” Jude’s words obviously expressed closeness to the person he was talking to. Not just by the tone and informality of his words, but by the loud cackle he made after saying them with a radiant smile sporting his face. But with only himself hearing the response of the person he was speaking to over the phone, only Jude’s voice could be heard by everyone with him in the room. “I am in darn need of your help, right now. And that means to say I need your presence right here in my place. I will send you the address—”Jude took a halt as if the other person said something to make him pause from his words. But the older man just laughed even louder than earlier he did. “I know, I know. Of course. Yeah. Yeah—” He halted again for a moment but reasoned with a boistero

  • The Queen of Bullies   Epilogue

Third Person's POVThe family of four, Mike, Nicole, Mac, and Chris, along with the older couple Lisa and Jude Parker had a wonderful meal. But of course, it didn’t end there. The whole day they had a blast. From the dining room where they had the most enjoyable brunch meal one could ever ask to experience, being with their beloved ones, the whole family moved to the air-conditioned gazebo in the backyard to enjoy their dessert. Aside from Chris, who chose to eat the cake first before eating the meal as her request, although it had been her habit to eat their servings before eating something else which made her take just a bite of the cake and eat her meal like everyone else at the table, everyone had the taste of the cake at the fancy resting room in the gazebo after their brunch. then they moved to the family recreation room or more of the kids’ play gallery to watch the twins play. “I am glad you all liked it,” Mike stated timidly. “This bakery is not unfamiliar to us, actually,

  • The Queen of Bullies   A Bubbly Daughter

Mike’s POV“Oh, that cake….” I mindlessly murmured when we arrived at the dining table and saw the design of the cake that I bought for Mac. The very same reason I had to run back home because I realized halfway down the stairs of my apartment building that I was not carrying anything in my hand aside from my phone. “I believe this is from you,” Mister Parker said as I timidly stood after I assisted Nicky to sit properly and comfortably on her chair. “But Fhadz brought it in when Mac realized you guys left the cake in the car,” he continued. I nodded as I smiled shyly. I had guessed Mac was from a well-off family. That was one of the reasons why I was hesitant to grant his request when he said he was inviting me to his birthday party. The same reason why I was cautious and conscious of what gift to bring him so I wouldn’t be attending his birthday party with empty hands. “I am not sure what to buy and bring for Mac to his birthday party and I have not been to any children’s party

  • The Queen of Bullies   Tickling Spark

Nicole’s POV“Dad, you might have to carry Mom to the dining hall,” my bubbly daughter said to Mike.“Huh?” Mike grunted. He seemed flustered for a moment. But before Chris could say anything to acknowledge Mike’s very brief expression, Mac explained to Mike for Chris as if they were telepathic about what Chris was going to say to elaborate on her words. It amazed me how my toddlers could communicate in such a mystical way, even in other instances where they seemed to have the same idea and thoughts. I guess I will never know such things on my own because I never had and never will I ever get the chance to have a twin sibling in this lifetime.“Mom has been in a wheelchair for years, but she started taking treatment and therapy a few months ago. I think she is a bit shocked to have you around today. Her legs must have frozen again. She can’t walk,” Mac spoke indifferently.“What do you mean?” Mike asked, frowning. More than any other emotions, I saw pain and regret in his eyes as he

  • The Queen of Bullies   Immense Joy

Mike’s POV“I am glad you didn’t know. See, you are graduating from your chosen course. While I am still taking my degree,” Nicole laughed softly, comforting me. My chest hurt like crazy, but the fact– although it was unbelievable, that Nicky was comforting me appeased me as well. Her simple words, the mere sound of her voice, the mere scent radiating from her body–even from her breath, they all soothed me like magic. Yet, again, I could not keep the sound of my muffled cries from being heard. But Nicky continued. “I had to take a longer break than usual maternity cases due to the accident.”The last word she mentioned pierced my heart fiercely again. I blame myself so badly for shutting myself out from anything that had to do with Nicky. I begged Justin not to mention her name or anything about her. Now, even if Justin knew about what happened back then, I can’t blame him for not telling me. This thought made me groan in pain even more.“Don’t despair so much. We got who the crim
