I release the breath I had basically been holding the whole fucking day knowing she was traveling unaccompanied.

‘Thank you Jo, you are relieved of duty, go home to your family’

He thanks me and I shut off the mind link. It was now 9pm and I had 3 hours to waste. Oly had offered for me to meet her before midnight but I couldn’t. I knew I had limited control and I wouldn’t be able to stop from touching her. This was it. And when I saw her, I wanted her in my arms.

“Ready?” I turn around and see Ryn there stretching out his arms

“Yeah.” I nodded and walked to meet him in the sparring circle.

“Olina mind linked me again, you are sure you don’t want her to bring her by before hand? I have to ask, or she will figu
