Chapter 15: The Final Battle

Aric and Kaida's army marched through the forest towards the enemy's stronghold, their footsteps echoing through the trees. The wind howled around them, and a chill crept into their bones.

Kaida looked up at the sky, where dark clouds were gathering. "Looks like we're in for a storm," she said.

Aric nodded grimly. "We have to move quickly," he said. "We can't afford to be caught in the open when the storm hits."

They picked up the pace, marching towards the enemy's stronghold. As they drew closer, they could see the walls rising up before them, tall and imposing.

Aric turned to his army. "This is it," he said. "The final battle. We've trained for this. We're ready. Let's show them what we're made of."

The army roared in response, drawing their weapons and rushing towards the walls. The enemy defenders were ready for them, and a fierce battle broke out.

Aric and Kaida fought side by side, their swords flashing in the rain. The battle raged on, with neither side gaining the upper hand.
