Seem's like we'll be having a bit of a rainy day today, I slide out of bed as quietly as I could so I don't wake Dastan, after I shower and brush my teeth I head down to the kitchen to make us some breakfast, it is something I've grown accustomed to over the years, this routine of ours.
It's been Six years, since Dastan and I met at the Dolici Restaurant one evening while I was picking up my take out, he came over to me after I paid and was about to turn to leave when I felt him tap me gently on my shoulder.
FLASHBACK ( Six Years Ago )
Excuse me, Miss I am sorry to approach you like this but I just wanted to tell you that you're so elegant and beautiful, I just had to let you know and if you don't mind me asking your name, I am a regular at this restaurant and I've never seen you here before.
At first I was appalled slightly, I mean yes I've had countless men approach me over the years, most of which had ulterior motives like trying to use me to get close to my family to advance themselves business wise, so I learned to weed through people and read their eyes and body language, I took a step back to give myself some personal space and take him in.
He stands roughly 6 ft 1" and was dressed in a suit, his hair slicked back and a pair of brown eyes stared at me as though analysing every inch of my face.
I appreciate the compliment sir, why do you need to know my name? It was a question I had to ask, I left Diamond City where my family is prominent and well known and came all the way here to finish my studies and pass the time working on Art where my status would not or at least should not affect the outcome of anything I put my mind to here, it would be of my own merit, well everything I achieved was of my own merit and hard work but obviously persons would always think because I am a Bergesse, the only daughter of the Bergesse family I ride on my family’s' coat tails which is far from the truth.
At least here I am away from that stigma and can shine on my own as not many people know of my family in these parts and I plan to keep it that way, I managed to make a few friends who I truly treasure and who also treasure me and we've become close, now this man here he doesn't seem to have an ulterior motive in approaching me, I suppose it'd be fine to me civil.
I do apologise if I came off too forward, it is simply because you reminded me of someone dear who has long since gone, that is all.
Oh my, tugging on my heart strings, I extend my hand to him I'm Stormie Burgs and you are? he takes my extended hand and shakes it gently, his hands are soft which means he does not do a job that requires hard labour, an office worker perhaps it's nice to meet you Stormie, my name is Dastan Lemos.
He looks at me as though he's expecting some sort of reaction but I truly have no idea who this man is, I take my hand back and cradle my food once more well it was nice to meet you Mr. Lemos, I must be on my way, I need to get back to work, I move past him after glancing at my watch ah where do you work? I look up at him, you sure ask a lot of questions to strangers Mr. Lemos, I do not know you and you expect me to just tell you where I work? what if you're a crazy stalker or a serial killer?
He gave a small laugh then shook his head apologies once more Stormie, it's been so long since I've approached someone it seems I have gotten way ahead of myself there, I assure you I am none of the above, please take my business card, perhaps that will put you at ease?
Mmmm no it doesn't, being a man of business does not make you any less suspicious just better at hiding in plain sight, I really must be going.
W-Wait p- The door closed behind me before he finished speaking, even if the gallery belongs to me it does not mean I can be late, I always believe in leading by example, I purchased the gallery last year as it was on the verge of bankruptcy, the owner was under a lot of pressure to sell it to someone who wanted to turn the building into office space, she is the only one who knows the gallery is mine as I bought it from her but chose to work as a rep and let her be the "boss".
It was the only time I used my family’s' name to get what I wanted and commissioned pieces of art from around the world to get them here and I too made a few pieces and added them to the gallery under the name Arie.
I hurry from the hotel room with the sitter and Daisy in tow, the hospital is just Three buildings away from where we’re staying so we made a quick run for it. We approach her room and shouting becomes much clearer and louder, as well as crashing sounds. My daughter! What have you done with her, where is my baby?!Bring me my daughter now!-Please calm down or we will be forced to sedate you, your daughter will be here soon, I’ve told you so already missCut the shit and get me my Daisy!... Mama, Mama!*clank*Daisy! My baby! Are you okay? Let mommy look at you!I’m frozen, I stand just outside the door and listen to the whole commotion, if I push that door open and walk in, there would be Myra or someone who looks like Myra standing in that room no doubt coddling and fawning over Daisy, the sitter is standing next to me now and looks up at me.Sir, a-aren’t you going in? You’ve been waiting for this moment for so long, stop hesitating and go on.Her words snap me out of my frozen st
DastanI can’t seem to think or function straight, I really must get to the bottom of this, when I received the phone call that she had been found and is unconscious in a hospital and on top of that there’s a little girl who is calling her mom and crying her eyes out for her mother, she’s too young to be mine, well she obviously would not be mine, I never had relations with Myra.I watch as her chest moves up and down as she breathes in sleep, she has some cuts and bruising on her body and face but she most certainly is as pretty as I remember her to be, she has aged but it looks very good on her. I am not really one for children but her daughter is so cute.Little one, what’s your name?Mommy says I must never talk to strangers mister. That’s a very good thing your mommy taught you sweetie but I’m not a stranger, I’m mommy’s friend from a very long time ago.You are?Yes, yes I am, tell you what I’ll tell you my name first how’s that?O-OkayMy name is Dastan, Dastan Lemos, what is y
If I had done that then were would we be right now Malachai?Point taken but Stormie these pieces are incredible!Thank you, I do have rather good taste after all, anyway each of you can pick Six new pieces for your designated areas and load them onto the trollies, I’m thinking of adding s few pieces of jewellery to the show rooms, what do you think about that guys? They all voice their approval so I leave them to choose their pieces while I venture further into the room and to my hidden vault where I store pieces I designed and had made as well as their design sheets that I signed. So many pieces to choose from, you are all such precious pieces to me but only a few of you can come along.I end up picking Twelve pieces to putting them into velvet cases, I carry them out of the vault and lock it before closing the door behind me and returning to the others who seem to be wrapping things up themselves.Okay Stormie, we’ve all got our piecesI’ve got mine as well so let’s head down and s
We finish our breakfast and I head out, when I checked the time is was 9:15 I asked Ben to meet me downstairs so he could drive me to the gallery then come back for Dastan, by the time I get to the gallery from the mansion it’s 9:40, I am obviously the first to arrive so I let myself in and lock the door behind me.I get to my office and fetch my phone from my bag and I see I have Eleven missed call which are all from my brothers, I slump back into my chair and release a breath before deciding on which of them to call back first, okay Troy my baby brother would probably be the most dramatic of the three, Thorne would be the most domineering as the eldest so we will go with Thristan.I take a deep breath and hit the call button on his number and he picks up on the second ring.Well hello their baby sisterH-hey TrisI hear a bit of shuffling in his background then some whispered bickering before an ow.Storm Burgesse! My eldest brothers voice booms through the phone making me jump and
DastanI can’t believe I did that with her, I mean she really is a siren a siren that has been trying to pull me more and more out of my darkness, but I do not want to taint her, I know I am being the worlds largest hypocrite because as I had planned when I first met her years ago to mould her into the woman I love and slowly I have done so but traits of her true self remain and those traits are trying to break my barriers.I can still taste her juices in my mouth and feel her flesh, I close my eyes as I lean against my office door and I begin to harden again, no! You need to snap of it Dastan, even if they resemble I can’t do this to her.I walk over to my desk and pull open my bottom drawer and take a small photo frame and gently trace the face smiling back at me, a face I long for the one I yearn for but Stormie can never find out about her because if she does, she will certainly leave me, she has a much stronger personality than her so I know nothing will keep her with me if she k

We can do that tomorrow! Just make sure everything is locked up, and we all gather here at 11:00 am tomorrow! A mid morning clean up session! No arguments here boss! The girls and I hurry to the restroom and touch up our make up and use the rest room before heading out, when we get out Malachai and Dominic are waiting with Dastan to lock up.He extends his hand to me as I approach shall we Mrs. Lemos? I blush lead the way Mr. Lemos! The guys lock up and we all walk to the restaurant, Dastan and I enter and there’s confetti and everyone just shouting congratulations! Oh my!
